I'm the Mod for TRM Discord I'm not sure when the Dev plans on returning but the Final message i got from him on July 2nd last year was very much in the tone that he would return i won't share the message cause there is personal stuff about his family but i will say he never planned on leaving the game behind from the talks i had with him before this very extended break.

Just my 2 cents about it

No answer.

You got the idea that you can finish this in your head, but you don't even stop to actually look at what's missing.
You are told you're not going to have huge chunks of plot explained to you here and you convince yourself that you have everything.
You are asked to demonstrate an ability to do basic research and try contacting the developer, and fail to deliver.

You couldn't even name a single loose story thread (unlike both Jgriz04 and MasterGamer1234567890), let alone provide information privy only to a handful of people. Everything I told you that you could possibly use, is information you should already know at least in part. Everyone else here knew some of it and even added to it.

Using someone else entire code and renders without their permission is theft no matter which disclaimer you put on it. Why do you think Rolling Stones, Billboard and other magazines have sued various AI companies recently?
Fan mods without the consent of the original dev. are theft too. So far I haven't seen a single fan mod where the original dev. didn't consent to using his work for the fan mod. In this case the dev. isn't able to give his consent, so any fan mod using his code and/or renders no matter how old they are, will be theft.
Quoting parts of a book or other written material in your own book, isn't theft as long as you add correct source references. But quoting a complete book, and adding an additional chapter on the other hand is theft.

So yes. Please make an effort to at least learn the meaning of the term theft, before trying to teach others of the meaning of the word.
The saddest thing is that you're already getting confused in your own messages)) I can't possibly quote the entire "book" by adding a couple of my own chapters to it, because according to your own statements, only about 10% of the planned content has been implemented in the game, and that’s exactly where the whole problem lies. We don’t have a finished version of this "book," so I can’t steal something that doesn’t even exist yet.

And as for theft, this is just the highest level of hypocrisy on your part—to be on a site where 80% of the content is somehow fan art of famous franchises created without the permission of the rights holder, and to claim that this is called theft.

My god. You really have zero knowledge about intellectual property rights. Have you never heard about books the comes in several parts, or has been released for review etc? Neither a book, nor a game has to be finished for someone to steal it. Using what is released and adding your own content to that, IS violating the intellectual property rights of the author or developer, even if it's just a single sentence, code line or render. Only if you are using a few sentences, one or two renders or a few code lines from a scene it could be considered quoting, which is legal if you apply proper source references. If you reuse the entire scene, it's like stealing an entire chapter from a book, which can never be considered quoting.

Instead of us continuing this pointless dialog, I suggest, you seek legal advice from someone in your network, as you have clearly absolute zero knowledge about the subject. I'm 100% sure they will tell you that I'm right.

I don't know where you have your numbers from. I've been playing about 150 different games from this site over the last 3-5 years, and not a single one of them has been posted here without the consent from the dev, either him posting it himself, or posting it for public access on Patreon or similar. I some cases, someone has tried to post a none public version, but the mods has always refused to add the links, if the dev has promised to release the game for public access within 3 months after the top tier subscriber release.

Fan arts or mods, I seldom play. Partly because most of the games I play don't have mods or fan arts, but the few I've played has all been made with the consent from the dev. In most cased the dev has even added the mods and fan arts to his release. So no. I'm not at all a hypocrite in this context. I might be in other context, but that is a different discussion.

Oh my god! You have absolutely no clue what's going on around you :) Look, to claim copyright, there first needs to be an author—and there isn’t one, just like there’s no continuation of the game. That’s the whole problem, and that’s exactly why I suggested trying to release a continuation on our own. For now, I’m just gathering information to see if other users even want this. I think I’ve understood your stance in this whole mess of nonsense—you’re against it.

As for those 150 different games, I don’t know what games you picked, but I seriously doubt the creators of Something Unlimited, Fallout, Slut Craft, Invulnerable, Doomination, Whores of Thrones, and others got permission from studios to use their characters. And that’s not even mentioning all the art with Lara Croft, Ingrid, Kasumi, Ciri, Yennefer, etc. I highly doubt you "accidentally" overlooked all that content, so once again, you’re being sneaky)))

They did not. I know they did not as Warner Brothers has a strict no nudity policy when it comes to DC characters and the animation part anyway. It can be implied but nothing on screen. And if anyone ever made any serious money doing that, they would have their lawyers swoop down on them pretty quickly.

I think it's more likely you who has no clue about what your are trying to do, except trying to make money of someone else's work.

Are you seriously not considering the original dev. the author of his code and renders?

just like there’s no continuation of the game.
Where do you have that information from? The last messages from the original dev, whether they were made public or privately, was that he was in a personal crises, but intents to return and continue his game.

I'm not against the continuation of this game. I'm against your approach to it. I have no problem with it if you are inspired from this game and makes your own version of it.

First of all. I don't recall playing any of those games. Secondly. Copyright on code lines and renders is quite different from copyrights on a character in a movie etc. You would know that is you had any knowledge about intellectual property rights. So again. Please seek legal advice before you get too deep into your continuation of this game.

They might, but probably wouldn't because it's VERY hard to claim copyright on a character like Lara Croft. You don't need to do many changes to the character ,or the context, before it's a different character which is outside the copyright. It's much easier to claim copyright on code lines and renders.

:KEK: How exactly am I supposed to cash in on this, huh? The whole idea was to release a version for free for anyone who wants it. I was gonna start with a short continuation first, and if people like the style, renders, etc., then keep going. From where I'm standing, all I see is me wasting my personal time, definitely not profiting. Or did you decide to add "liar" to your resume next to "hypocrite"?

And about your copyright comment... I just gave examples of games that use other people's assets without permission - and there are plenty more here. But by your logic, any fan art made without the original author's permission is theft. So basically, you just called a huge chunk of content creators on this site thieves. Or is this "different" somehow? xD

PS
Alright, these messages are starting to sound more like mutual insults, and I really don't want to upset you. We're both fans of the same game, and personally I'd love to see a continuation too. But as practice shows, when an author disappears for such a long time, the chances of getting a proper sequel are pretty slim...

Now you are starting to go in circles. I suggest you reread everything I've written in this thread, then you will see that everything you just wrote is wrong, and already answered. I'll finish this conversation with a last attempt to get you to seek some other legal advice, since my advice seems to fall on deaf ears.

And just for the record. I've been dealing with copyright and intellectual property rights as part of my work for large international IT companies over the last 30 years. Not as a layer, but as an author and user of red books, white papers, best practices, design documents, software code, documentation, manuals etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

Is your information true? Will the developer really come back? If so, I'm genuinely looking forward to it. It's such a great game — I really hope the developer can stick with it and finish it properly. After I finished the game previously I sponsored them for six months but didn’t see the developer take a break, so I paused my support. If your news is true, I wouldn't mind resuming my sponsorship; I just hope they can get through whatever difficulties and come back to continue improving the game.

I have withheld the names of two women who are not currently in the game, one of whom is a request from a supporter. What are both of their names?
I have some renders of Meredith and Rebecca. What (besides them being naked and distressed) do they have in common?
I have some renders of Emma and Zafina. What (besides them being naked and distressed) do they have in common?

It's been pointed out that you did not know what others know are unfinished paths just by playing, until those were brought up by others. It's been pointed out that you haven't asked anyone in the discord about the specific things those there had contributed. It's been pointed out that you have not been in touch with HorizonticalS to get permission or any information about how the game should be finished.
I want to see this game finished and I don't care who finishes it, but it has to be done the right way. You're not doing that.

this is a pirate site . there are many games here that use other games renders and assets without permission . the only legal action that could be taken is on patreon but knowing the nature games like this i doubt any fan game/continuation of this game will survive there

All this talk did get me wondering what I would do if I had the knowledge and time to continue this game.

It has been quite awhile since I have played the game from beginning to current end so I am sure I forget a lot, including many names.

With that said, here is a short list of things I would finish/do if I was going to progress the game. Ironically, most of it would be fleshing out the side storylines as the gas leak storyline is one of the least interesting to me.

1) Finish the date with the secretary whose husband is overseas. The setup for this has been in the game for years without advancement. It would be a number one priority.

2) Finish the red pill/blue pill storyline for…I think it is Rebecca.

3) Flesh out the storyline with Audrey’s husband. This would take a little bit because it would be different based on the choices made (cuck or share).

4) I would add an option for Dominic to be able to participate when I call him to Cecilia’s home. (I was once a subscriber in a tier high enough to request scenes. I requested this scene and it never got implemented)

5) we would become better friends with the mayor as I set it up for him to have fun with the part-time secretary.

6)The blonde that Alpha Male brought for one of the first photo shoots would return. This time we would seal the deal. Options would be given to let Dominic participate as well.

7)Finish up the Audrey home nighttime options.

8) The big shopkeeper needs to be repaid for all the help he has given. It is high time the cashier finds it in her heart (I don’t really care how she truly feels about it) to let him have his fun.

9) Bobby has been a loyal friend. he needs options to be with Audrey and the military chick.

10)I would take the game beyond photo shoots. Dominic’s studio would start selling black market porn with all our unwilling ladies participating.

I am sure there are a million other things to do. I simply cannot remember them all. I suppose the first step would be to actually go back through the game and refresh my memory.

with that said, I have no intention of doing something like this. I was just bored and thinking about it.

ps- I would do nothing for the ‘love’ side of the game and would probably retcon Miko as I have no desire for female domination.

People keep telling me that, and that might have been true years ago. The fact is that now a days very seldom at game is posted here without the consent from the dev. Neither is fan art/mods made without the consent of the dev. I've played more than 150 games from this site so far, and none of them has been posted without the consent of the dev. Also neither of the fan art/mods made of those games has been made without the consent of the dev.

When a game is posted her now a days, it's normally hold back by the mods until it's released for public use.

1 What makes you think I'd know the names of those women YOU hid?
2 How should I know what's on your renders of Meredith and Rebecca? It's not like you showed them to me, or did I miss something?))
3 See point 2.

I don't know who's telling you what, but if you've already talked to HorizonticalS and he told you that I hadn't contacted him, maybe you could have also asked him about the game's sequel while you were at it. But it seems you didn't.

Honestly, if we cut through all the hysterical nonsense you wrote above, the only useful thing you mentioned is that some users actually have some info on where the author was planning to go. That's good to know, and thanks for that.

As for how I plan to proceed: I haven't really started working on the game yet. First, I need to make sure I can actually pull it off technically. Right now, I'm just gathering the 3D models of the game characters (FYI, I think I managed to recreate Audrey's character, by the way). Once I'm confident it's technically feasible, I'll start working on the story. That's when I'll need help from people who know about the plot.

So, stop having a meltdown. If you actually want to see the game finished properly, you'd better help with the story later instead.))

While you're at it, drop him a line about where he gave permission to publish his game—he'll be thrilled. (Just FYI, the guy releases one update every three months if we're lucky, making $2800 a month from it.)

And be sure to thank Warner Bros. for their permission to create erotic games based on their DC and Harry Potter franchises! And a particularly deep bow to Marvel for Black Widow))) It's so great that they don't mind what's being done to her here (special thanks to Scarlett Johansson).

It's less a test of your psychic ability and more to see if you're willing to contact HorizonticalS and/or talk to people who have directly supported the game.

I don't know who's telling you what, but if you've already talked to HorizonticalS and he told you that I hadn't contacted him, maybe you could have also asked him about the game's sequel while you were at it. But it seems you didn't.
Last time he messaged me was the 1st of July last year, however I only know of two people who know both those women's names and three who know the content of the renders. Horizonticals being one of the people in both instances.

Honestly, if we cut through all the hysterical nonsense you wrote above, the only useful thing you mentioned is that some users actually have some info on where the author was planning to go. That's good to know, and thanks for that.
Pointing out that you're not trying to figure out anything yourself, is not "hysterical nonsense". It's just pointing outthat you have posted things like this particular sentence to which I am responding.

As for how I plan to proceed: I haven't really started working on the game yet. First, I need to make sure I can actually pull it off technically. There's actually another office corruption game with a character who looks very much like Audrey.

So, stop having a meltdown. If you actually want to see the game finished properly, you'd better help with the story later instead.))
When you're done with your hissy fit. What makes you think I haven't already done that? I'm not the developer or writer and I know details about the plot that are yet to be written. So does Diggers.
And we both agree, you're not the right guy to finish this.
