I would love to see 2 main things in the game in the future
1. More activity density in a day, it seems like the player mostly just goes to work to sit around and do nothing but talk to Lois for a while and then go home and spend some time with a character usually Kari.
It would be great to have the option to spend time or talk to some of the employees at work, I'd say add a simple framework to let the player pick a character and then have one of a couple random scenes that could happen with that character with the possibility to add in more scenes to the pools later. Maybe add in giving tasks to the interns to do that day or stuff like that to make the player feel like they are doing something at work. Have one of the secretaries come and ask for a lunch order, or have the option to go out to lunch with characters. And maybe some similar kinds of things for afterwork as well so it isn't just go for coffee or sleep.
2. Give preference to expanding content for the many existing characters over adding new characters unless it's needed for the story. Mainly my reasoning is most of the time it feels like here is a new girl her name is this here is a little about her and now she is gone repeat.
