Congrats, you're in the very small minority that likes sandbox type games. They can be easier for a dev to just throw shit on the wall to see what sticks, but are a fairly poor way to tell any sort of actual story, unless the event triggers are limited based on some conditions, and then it's harder to make instead of easier because you have to make sure the player has hit all the needed sandbox scenes, instead of just having them move along a story line.

Well, we all like what we like certainly. I find one-directional VNs to be boring, and I often lose interest, but I know a lot of people like those.

I've been reading through the pages and I read the Devlog on Patreon and my impression is that he is not working on this game anymore and he is going to focus on Revelations? The simple answer is that what we have so far is now titled "The Roommate: Inheritance". The next part will be "The Roommate: Revelations". The same story/characters, it's just moving into the next stage.

He supposed to be sorting out the back end of the VN, as he's better at coding now than when he started and it's a mess. Too many pre-existing bugs. that keep being carried forward. So it's a fresh start, i.e. new chapter, then the story moves on.

The simple answer is that what we have so far is now titled "The Roommate: Inheritance". The next part will be "The Roommate: Revelations". The same story/characters, it's just moving into the next stage.

Short answer, the game is an utter buggy broken pile of cow pies.

Long answer, everything is still carried over but into a hopefully bug free experience with the next chapter/stage/evolution of the game, same characters, places, everything....

Not quite, it's just a new chapter, the story will just carry on. It should enable quicker updates in theory, as there's no fixing the old errors each update. In reality, who knows. I don't think the new names are helping, they just add confusion. Part 1 and part 2 or chapter 1 and chapter 2, would be easier for everyone to understand.

I haven't played the last 5 or 6 updates because of the bugs and crap. I've been keeping an eye on it though, because I'd like to come back to it one day if it ever gets into a playable state.

Note: I will probably drop this game at some point, the Dev is always adding or removing something to the game, and it's always a lot of work to update the game, and since the dev is always changing the scripts, the saves break, and then I get the blame.

Why is there a bestiality tag on this game? I don't remember any scenes of that nature.

There is but he removed it to put it in DLC because of Patreon's rules... And the DLC is not yet available but you can find the scene in a previous version (I don't remember which one)
