Hi all, I don't know if this can be counted as development status, but let it be. This

two weeks have been absolutely shitty. First, my PC refused

to render one small scene for reasons unknown to me, which are still unknown.

to another location and try again." After spending several hours finding

quite a lot, considering that I can't use my PC

When I woke up, I found that my PC had rendered 40+ black blank

part of the next episode. Honestly, I don't know what the problem was. I'm

Just came across this and gave it a try because it looks visually great. It's got an interesting, if simple, story and some beautiful models. The English needs a complete overhaul however, with a lot of errors present as well as various lines that don't really fit the context. Plus there are still several lines of Russian still present in the English script.

Other than that, with the visuals we have here, this has good potential, and I will check out the next update when it arrives.

Another MC with amnesia, eh ?? Never heard of that before. Hope this one won't turn into Super Alex's Amnesia, coz I can only bare one wimpy, stupid MC per game. I like the fact that this one at least doesn't force you to be a creep and molest your female relatives in their sleep, so that's already a big plus compared to the game mentioned above. Now, let's see how good the story is.

Kinda reminds me of homecoming 53x just more aggressive right out the gate.

Hello everyone.

I'm nearing the completion of the main renders. I have about three more scenes to do, two small and one large. Once I'm done with them, processed and put into code I'll need to finalize some renders for different paths. I think it's still too early to announce a release date, but we're getting close.

Also I rewrote some dialog in some scenes, may have to do that somewhere else. I'm done with all the music and sounds for the prologue and the first episode. Now only the second one is being worked on.

Also I created two new characters for the next episode, you could already see them in Discord. Here I can only show you one, because the other one is a bit n a k e d.....

My friend did some experiments with render settings and thanks to that I managed to find a balance between render time and image quality, so the end of the second chapter will look better in terms of quality than the beginning.

I'm also in need of a translator.

Since the release of the first chapter I've come across posts like "However, the English language needs a complete overhaul: there are a lot of errors and various lines that don't quite fit the context.", so it would be great to find someone who could help bring this part of the game to life. This update is going to be quite big, by big I mean having different ways of going through some of the scenes, so it would be great to find a few people to test the game on a regular basis, so if you have the desire then contact me on Discord.

I currently have 1600 renders ready to go.

TBH, a proofreader would do the trick, and might be easier for dev to source (I have no idea if I'm right, but my guess would be that a proofreader is easier to come by than a translator, anyway). The translation is one part, but if you have that (through Google, I think I saw) then it just needs a native English speaker to clean it up. Russian idioms might be a bit more tricky, but a native English speaker with at least a bit of world experience would hopefully be able to find an appropriate saying in English, or suggest something else to replace any tricky ones.

(Side note, I've done proofreading work on Chinese stuff that has been translated to English, and the idioms were a nightmare to figure out a lot of the time! And sadly, I can't offer my services to dev, as I don't have the capacity to take on such a project. I'm happy to answer occasional small queries though, as I like the look of this game and genuinely think it could have potential.)

Names are one thing I noticed that look bad but make an easy fix - most times in dialogue, Laura is spelled "Lora", for instance. Not a problem if MC renaming is brought in, but the girls also use Vincent, Vinny, Vins, and Vin, which can get confusing - it's probably natural to use a slightly different term in different situations, but I would expect a "favourite" abbreviation to be used in fiction rather than a variety. Same with the team using both Tom and Tommy - where Tommy is the familiar name, it comes across a little odd also using Tom occasionally.

Anyway, my posts sound like I have nothing but complaints, for which I apologise, so I'll reiterate that I've enjoyed this so far and look forward to the next update.

Posts like this help a lot, for which thank you very much. I may just not know about some things from English and I write as it is mostly spoken in Russian. That's why I need someone who is able to understand in both languages at once. Anyway, I will try to correct textual errors and sentence construction as much as possible

I gave it a try, because the models look attractive. So far, there is still a lot of Russian text which is not translated. 2nd thing that bugs me a lot is the name of the character Laura. By some unknown reason whenever Ashley or Vincent are talking about her, her name becomes Lora. This all should be fixed in chapter 2 but it's still ongoing.

Edit: seems like after the 1st save some things are better. Laura is Laura and so far no more russian text. Not enough choices tho.
