I tried playing this some time ago, but i disliked that MC is a murderous psychopath that is so full of himself..
Is this still the case, or did he gain some humility or something

I want to give it another try, story seemed interesting when i tried it, but MC is just so annoying to play as...

he is still an asshole but you can make him less of one at times. tbh I never saw him as a murderous psychopath in comparison to other characters he always felt kind of tamed to me compared to them. But this game just might not be for you he is always going to be a little bit of a " murderous psychopath" considering he is a what like 3 - 5 thousand year old vampire and heir to the throne. So there is no getting past that

I remember that one scene, there was a meeting with werewolves or something. Someone disrespected MC and he just killed them. That is not how you gain their respect, that way they only fear you.
MC is one of the most powerful beings in existence and he is so insecure that he has to murder some random werewolf that is no match for him. He could kill him in his sleep. just to show everyone that they should "respect" him. Makes no sense to me. MC seemed like 15 year old in that scene, completely immature...
(I might be remembering it wrong, it was a long time ago, but that made me quit)

In any case, think ill give it another go, nothing else to play right now :D

You are remebering wrong, and you also completely missed the entire context and point of that meeting.

How Maviarab said, the scene is still there but that was in self defense, and that pack of Were wolfes, raided them later on, there is a war between them and the Vampires ongoing.
but that is my take,

I replayed the scene, and you are right, i did remember it wrong somewhat. But some of my point still stands, although that is just my opinion.

It wasn't self defense in that one scene that i am thinking of, maybe you are thinking of some of the later scenes (that i didn't play yet)

The Hotelroom scene ? that is the one I was refering, to.
I thought he was referring to the scene with the wolf leaders...where we don't actually kill anyone for disrespecting us iirc...our beautiful sexy alpha does. Other than the hotel, I can't actually recall any other time we kill a wolf.

After the Wolf raid on the Vampire stronghold, you kill the Wolfpack leader the one from the Bar at the beginning.

Ahhh...forgot about that. So what's his problem then?

News flash...we ain't covered in sparkles and we don't have Ms Resting Bitch Face Stewart nagging in our ears. Vampires are not the good guys and not nice folk.

If I remember this correctly (I haven't played this scene it quite some time) he is responsible for the attack. He instigated and planned the attempted murder of your clan. The MC gave him one chance to accept his defeat the fall back in line under the vampires as it was the established order. He refused and was dealt with accordingly. If you look at it from a leadership perspective you realize the MC is not a murderous psychopath but is doing what is necessary to prevent such attacks in the future(removing an apposing leader and replacing it with a loyal one).

Question for the fans/people of the 7 realms thread, who did you guys end up siding with? the demons or the witches? and why?

I'm not sure if there's any immediate consequences to this yet but just from a moral pov? why did you guys choose that?

I made a save and did both paths. It's brought up a bit in dialogue at one point in Realm 3 beyond that not sure I cant recall. I personally would do demons as my main pick tho. While demons might be morally worst I didn't want to betray them or anything. I think they would probably crush us and the wolves or come very close be almost no kingdom left if a war were to ever breakout between them , so I figured best to stay on good terms.

I have a save point that would allow me to go back and pick the witches, but I sided with the Demons. Having Ba'el and the demons on your side is just the smart play. And while I would never claim that murdering half a people for a single witch being an arrogant selfish bitch is ever justified, I really disliked Arianna by the end.

I don't see why my own morality would fit into this. I sided with the demons because that's what I felt the MC would've done. Even if it was the more evil path it was also the right one for the ruler of the realm to take, comes with less risk on a political scale, comes with more upside to the realm. It might've been morally the wrong decision but the MC as far as I've seen weighs morality fairly low on his personal scales and I felt that siding with the witches would've contradicted his priorities and his character much more than going behind his bond mate's backs did.
Besides, literally only Leyala actually cared about it. Naya and Kali didn't give one shit what he did.

Wow, 3 out of 3 chose demons. I also considered that the 'right' decision, still went with witches though as I wasn't gonna betray my bond mates. I might have went with demons if the option had included outright telling my mates I'd do so, but going to Lucius behind their backs was a no-go for me.
