Like relations between contries, verbal spats between warring factions, as opposed to phisical violence, those are what would happen when mystical creatures such as werewolves and vampires try to avoid bloodshed, which MC and his opponent were trying to do in the pub.
Since I never played Realms before, I mean the very beginning, R1 Bar scene, MC with friends and werewolves, girl shows up... that scene...
The whole thing in the bar is rather dull and gives sort of "oh no hollywood highschool vampire drama" vibes.
As said before, gladly it got immediately much better in the hotel room when LI & MC are getting attacked.
You said: Well, I just have to kill some elves now. I don't do "half mesures"... I hate it tho.
Game said: Starting scene is everyone killing elves in a killing spree. No remorse, second thought or restraint.
huh? I don't get it. Why say that to me? Oh! I think you quoted the wrong person lol
What did you genuinely think would happen once you start like that?

I expected nothing else than killing Elves? But I hated to do it. That's all I said :) I was in the same mindset as Kali.
I felt that putting them in quarantine would be potentially way more dangerous for the Elves.

If you mean me with that answer:
Well yes perfectly understandable and fine, but it's the intro scene and the player knows nothing at all yet about the people and settings...
It's a nice approach to start in a story scene and not in a long winded useless explaination of everything, dead parents, runnaway fathers, strange motves or unexpected wealth like in other VNs...

Was just saying the way it's written is a bit unengaging, and nearly had me miss out on the game.
At that point in time the given information and interaction isn't of value for the player, the hook comes after the bar scene.

The whole scene makes sense restrospectively of course, not exactly when you play through it.
I find it drags on a bit to much giving information the player doesn't need at that point in time, or would better be given through the talks during or following the fight to engage the player earlier.

im liking the game less and less with these crappy major branches
so, in book 3 you either get the shitty ending and you get to keep the 2 new members of the harem or get the good ending and lose them
also, leyala is quickly becoming one of those liberal college white chicks with 0 accountability

Honestly I still like Leyala more than the wolf but Kali and Tasha are my favorites
There are a lot of good choices in this but if I had to choose one, other than Leyala it would be Kagome. That would also be a fun playthrough because most of the time, especially in the early game, I'm worried about going to far and freaking Leyala out. With Kagome that wouldn't be a consideration.

Leyala is naïve and idealist.
Idealists fail to understand that sometimes more harm than good occurs in the world simply because these "idealists" refuse to do what must be done to maintain a fragile peace.

She hot tho  (less hot than alpha wolfie but..;) )

Leyala is my favorite and, for an idealist, she's coming along ok. I mean, we broke a promise she made and killed half the witches and she was mad for about 48 hours so ... she's making rapid progress. Besides, it's good to have someone around to say "Wait, can't we do this a nice way..." even if the answer is generally "no".
