Anyone else notice the bad kitty has been MIA for 2 months without a single word? She's definitely still around because she's actively crying to SFS and other DL sites to remove links to her content. She didn't release anything in June (she bumped the Farm release to July instead) and also nothing for September or, presumably at this point, October. Is she still collecting the monthly fee? With 650 donators @ minimum $5 each month, she's pulling in a decent full-time living off of violating EA's UGC rules, and it looks like she's just straight up robbing people now...
Also I noticed that Felix's content from recent months has drastically gone down in quality from what it used to be, looking for example at the old Schwerin and Trianon sets compared to the most recent Florence set. Much less mesh detail, absolutely no texture, everything has a basic-bitch monochrome paint job, and several items are just liberated meshes from EA clutter with a different color palette. With high graphic settings you can also see the tiny mesh lines crackling through in-game. It's clearly not lack of skill, just pure rushed laziness. And he makes even more $$ every month than the sour puss.
Just goes to show that these Patreon hucksters are little more than con artists who abandoned their artistic integrity in pursuit of the dollar, which they get pseudo-illegally so they never had much integrity to begin with.

I am sure she is enjoying this situation.Some of CC creators are making poor excuses why their work delays... like 'my pet's sick (tears)'
Moreover their works resemble each other nowadays. If someone starts architectural type like minimalism, brutalism, zen style etc, many creators imitate each other, and they lost their original styles.
I just checked them out and you're right, it seems like a con. I was wondering why people stay subscribed but I guess they don't want to miss that particular month's release. Still per the terms, they could stop and start again and still get the past 3 months so it's kinda hard to feel bad for them when they could just walk away after this long CC drought. No wonder everyone has a patreon these days if there are so many people around happy to shell out cash for that kind of service. I'm now feeling like a conspiracy theorist because I'm wondering if some of them are money laundering schemes.
Speaking of people going MIA, I have noticed way too many people using mental health as an excuse to drop off the internet while still racking in the dough. I get it, I'm chronically depressed myself and I don't blame them for taking some time off but I do judge those who do that and conveniently keep charging their patreons through their hiatus.
As for Felixandre, his no recolor policy is really shitty given how terrible many of his textures and colors are.
It's true, especially with the minimalist/zen aesthetic lately. Many creators, both Patreon and free, are nearly indistinguishable. You see the same thing for hair/makeup/clothing creators. I get they're following the latest Instagram and Pinterest trends, but come on. There's the entire histories and cultures of the planet, as well as all the fantasy/sci-fi and fictional stuff you could create from! Somebody jump on the dark academia trend!

Places like DMCA.gripe and Yiff will never remove content so whether our 'fetid feline' likes it or not, the STUFF IS OUT THERE and there is NOTHING that can be done about it. So AK... As far as quality is concerned, there are plenty of other modders who are doing nicer things than these con artists! If you do not like their stuff then MOVE ON... and if it is in .package format I get to mod it to suit my needs whether they like it or not and I WILL SHARE IT if I feel others will enjoy it. <sticks out tongue>
I've done a few personal basic recolors of his stuff for my game, mostly for darker and richer color tones. But yeah, his color palette is pretty shitty, especially the wood swatches, and the lack of texture detail makes what would otherwise be very nice, just look...bland and boring.
Pretty arrogant to refuse to allow recolors (which would probably be better), considering quite a few of his objects are extracted EA meshes. A lot of the little clutter objects from the Kyoto set are from EA kitchens. And the Venetian arches from the preview of the upcoming November set look very much like the Venetian arches from the TS3 store content Last Venue of Amore. Which, by the way, TheJim07 at MTS converted months ago, with far more texture detail.
In general, TS4 is very cartoony when it comes to detail. I've got conversions from TS3, TS2, Skyrim, WOW, Oblivion, etc. that are years behind in terms of resolution, and they still look more detailed in game than a lot of EA content. :/

Hi Guys! I don't know if I can ask this here, but anyway, I'm having a problem when exporting the sim to the importer's tray, I always remove all other looks to pass my sim on to my friends, except in the gallery. But when I go to get it from the tray, she is always using the cps that I removed. And he ends up getting super heavy. Has anyone been through this and knows how to solve? Since already super thanks!
