That's the one i'm using, yes, but whenever i try to remove the "maxis pick" tag it asks me to connect to my account (which i'm already connected to) and i get stuck

This might have been shared here earlier,but to anyone joining in now could be probably interested in a wide variety of mods that are really a game changer in providing depth and immersion to the Sims 4 (which in all honesty it desperately lacks)

LittleMSSam's Mods

From anything like owning a club,running a club from your residential lot, actual fucking working elevators anywhere you want them to small stuff like Vampires No Cold Breath which you didn't even know you need but it does add to the immersion.

The best part? They are all FREE and supporting the creator is totally optional!

I might be too hyped but this discovery really refreshed the game for me. Especially after the new magic realm addon,which in my personal opinion could have been something that they should have added AFTER including stuff like being able to form a band,going to college,owning and driving a car,and a million other real life things that the previous Sims games already had early on.

P.S. I apologize in advance if this was not the place to share this,or if I have went out of my way to try and describe my excitement with it.

They are honestly fantastic, and the buy more venues one is a most have for me. Simda Dating App is also a lot of fun to play with, it reminds me of some of the Kinky World stuff for 3 that hasn't been worked into WW yet. Everything I've ever seen from Sam has always been kind and helpful, and even with how many mods there are she has them all testing and updated for each patch almost within a day, and she has a LOT of mods. Her, Coolspear, and Bienchen are all out here fixing everything and giving us what Maxis should have to start with. Could not recommend any of them higher. Also, Scarlet/SimsVIP, her mods are great too, but she also takes on keeping some of the bigger abandoned mods working, and just posts in comments for them not even her own pages or anything, and the sheer amount of work she did with the broken/updated/compatible mods google sheet every patch, and still does on the forums.

+1 for Bienchen & Scarlet's mods. I have a lot of their mods in my game as well.

In the meantime, I'm going back to TS3, because even with WW and all the mods above, the gameplay just isn't there for me in TS4. Even if I ignore performance issues with the (to me) infuriating input lag despite using Coolspear's/Simmythesims' fixes, it's difficult to justify the investment of trying to fix mod incompatibilities, following updates almost daily here and elsewhere, while the core remains rotten. Every TS4 Sim plays out so alike to the next one.

In Game Question - How does one paint from reference horizontally? Do I need a particular mod for this or is this something that can be done in game? Seems like a simple thing as you can hang long and narrow paintings from the shop, so im guessing there's a way to paint em that way?

You can't, as far as I know. Paintings can only be the small square, medium square, and large vertical rectangle.

I don't know if it was because I had every single expansion (plus a whole bunch of worlds and premium content from the store), but TS3 was entirely unplayable by the time TS4 came out. No amount of world routing fixes and NRAAS could prevent crazy lagging and frequent save file corruption.

That said, the wide variety of gameplay in TS3 was just astounding, even without KW (which I didn't really use much). Why doesn't EA just hire somebody to do TS3 to TS4 object conversions? I would definitely pay for a game pack that brought back casinos and gambling...

I have many unemployed male in the unplayed sims pool.

But the game won't assign one of them to be the boss.

But instead, the number of operators keep increasing.

I wonder if there a way to select manually?

Double check the boss's room to make sure the Boss Chair item is there. It's a specific chair item the mod uses to assign a boss NPC. If it's there and it's still not working, try deleting and replacing it, or bulldozing and replacing the entire lot. Make sure bb.moveobjects is on first.
