Hi, navigating the game can be troublesome at times.

In WW we can designate in the sex settings if the NPC or Player Sims should ask. Choose Player as your default, or choose both Player and NPC options if you want. According to your settings, they should walk to nearby location, or instantly begin animation.

If acceptance is still a problem, depending on your game settings, it can happen if the Sims have never met before. Just choose an introduction option if there is a certain Sim you want your Sim to interact with. either friendly or romantic; the intro type doesn't matter.

You will need Weerbesu's UI mod if you don't have it already. After the introduction the possible Sim partner should appear in the relationship panel. Now pause game and set their friendship/romance level higher. Sounds involved, I know; but it only takes seconds. Go back into Live mode and again choose the join-in option.

The request should be instantly accepted and the animation should start. Link for weerbesu patreon page below; hope this helps. MissCee

You can do the same thing if you have MCCC installed.

Does anyone know what ksuihuh's mod "=RedAppleNet= 1.0.1" do?

I downloaded it from the amlgames without knowing anything about the mod. And it gives a bug in my game, male sims nudity in CAS isn't showing up (they wear underwear after I use that mod). Removing the mod solves the problem.

I'm unsure about two animation files:

ww_lupobianco_reworked_animations.package - Is this file old and no longer needed? I have the latest kamasutra mod installed that does not include it.

WW_SALARMOJS_ANIMATIONS.package - Is this file no longer needed if I'm using WW_SALARMOJS_INFERNO_STONE.package?

Thanks!

Fin Fin releases a modded version of Lupobianco's animations containing some older animations that Lupo has removed. It's not clear on the MEGA folder which is which, but I think you may have the modded one listed here. You can use either the modded, or normal versions of Lupo's animations, but not both.

As far as Salarmojs anims are concerned, there are several files that come in the package. The one you have listed is meant to accompany a prop that comes with the package.

The best thing to do is either comb this thread for that most recent animation packages by these animators. I know they are here. That way you'll know exactly what comes with each package.

Here's what I located on TS4 Rebels Discord... I hope this helps. Courtesy of FinFin of course. :)

Lupo update: "Spite revenge" MFF for sofa, involving cellphone. 5 stages.
Regular:
Modded:

Salarmoj update: Sexy robbery series (6 stages MF), location: "The ornate beauty" decoration:

Thanks! I had noticed the male sim thing too, but hadn't linked it to RedAppleNet. It doesn't bother me that much since I usually use Noir's, but it's good to know that it isn't caused by something else.

The mod itself is Ksuihuh's first attempt at creating an active career - his goal is to apparently have a full-fledged pornstar career similar to the acting career in Get Famous.

Sloppy coding, navigation issues, and 32 bit limitation doesn't bode well. Sims 4 at least did one thing right, go 64 bit.
Even if I could go back to TS3, I would miss multitasking and emotions. The MultiTab object from the TS3 store was cool, but being able to watch TV or talk while you eat is awesome. And I love the emotions system too, even if it means I have to go around making sure my angry sims doesn't piss off other people.

My problem with TS4 is mostly that it was well designed but poorly executed, and since the modding community is doing really cool stuff, they people at Maxis don't seem to care. If I worked at EA, I would employ Zerbu, LittleMsSam, Bienchen and coolspear (and probably a few others) and have them MTSGA (Make The Sims Great Again )

Wishful thinking I'm afraid. Why would EA want to hire them when they work for free? EA is not known for being anything but penny pinching morons. They ruin everything they get their hands on. As far as the Sims goes, I'm quite sure they were pleased as piss when the modding community adopted it. Not only do they not have to worry about people getting bored with it, but they have a community more than willing to pick up their slack.

R.I.P. Dead Space series, Mass Effect series, Command & Conquer series, Battlefields, some prety good studios also... That's why, now, I don't buy EA game anymore...

I agree - that's why I said "if I worked at EA", although what I really meant was "if I was one of the TS4 producers" ;)

EA's goal is obviously to make money, and there's nothing wrong with that. The problem is how they're doing it (by squeezing money out of idiots like me who are willing to pay $10 for a stuff pack) vs. how I think they should be doing it (by making a kick-ass game that doesn't require you to spend 75% of your time updating mods and fixing random shit).

There are other game companies that embrace their modding communities by giving them tools and docs, while Maxis can barely be arsed to publish TDESCs (and never in advance, so tool creators and modders are never prepared for upcoming patches and DLC).

Sims 4 has turned out to be a real nickle and dime job. When it came out it was so bare I couldn't believe it. They monetized every feature that was available in Sims 3 from the beginning before Sims 4 got any of them. What a shame to ruin the reputation of Maxis. Whomever was responsible for selling Maxis to EA should be.... Never mind... I don't want to go there!

You forgot the Dragon Age series. Dragon Age Origins is still one of my favorite games. It was truly awesome for its time when it was released back in 2009 (written by Bioware).
