Flerb's Sun Machine mod was not working. Now the author has reloaded it again and the object is now installed without problems. But keep in mind that this is just an object with no functions and no more. As the author explains, this object (Solarium) he published specifically for his patrons in order to be considered how it will look in the game, evaluated and gave their comments and suggestions about it. The Solarium will be included in the mod "automatic sun burns V10" and will be fully functional, but only when this version of the mod is released.

Is anyone using sims from the vault, and having issues with the bodies being elongated like the alien from "close encounters of the third kind"? just curious if I'm the only one.

the vault is pretty bad at making sims. I tried some of their sims before but it's almost always awful.

to answer your question. you probably have some sliders installed that's messing with the body shapes.

Go into your mod folder and search for "*slider*" with the *s.

if you remove the sliders, all the rest of your sims will look weird though. beware.

The Vault is absolutely awful at making sims. Like Luerv said, there could be issues with sliders but there's also the possibility with custom body presets. Regardless, the only one of theirs that isn't horribly mangled and actually kinda looks like the actual actress is probably their version of Salma Hayek.

Its less shady and more shitty honestly. There is such a huge range in quality of some people's sims compared to others when it comes to Patreon content. I've actually ran across a few people on tumblr who've made great sims and left them free to the public.

Honey, let me save you from the ton of trouble that's about to come your way for asking a last exception/help question on this forum..... head over to lastexception.com and upload this same exact file... it should give you a clue or two as to what may be causing it. Get BETTER Exceptions Mod and read all the reports carefully.... usually accurate and very necessary if you have mods....Most importantly, keep your mods up to date and check the creators websites regularly for updates, especilally after a patch. Hope this helps and in the future, maybe ask these types of help questions in the discord channels. People get very upset if you ask here.

Since i saw some people talk about the sims creators and how they act i feel that there is a terrible misconception there.
For starters creating a sim is not just adjusting tray but using a fair number of cc for looks and dressing. Some of that might be self created some might even be specially ordered for a collaborating creator (thus you see names like "celeb's name" hair or dress on random cc ). This is enough to justify not to let it for free.

For the legal part of not releasing.. Well.. Patreon is not a store.. It's a pledge/support site and unless they ask fee per piece then they can not be deemed illegal for keeping them locked. EA to begin with created the gallery to allow personal creations and gave the ok for modding long ago so the only thing they could possibly try to hunt would be mods that affect game code. (that would kill the game though).

That been said it's rightfully up to creators to choose if they want to share or not.. And up to each of us if we want to support or leak such creators Not right or wrong in any case but don't blame them for things that do not stand.

. All good ideas there. From what I see in that exception, it appears as though KiaraSims' Financial Analyst career is the culprit here. Probably just out of date, or conflicting with something else that I can't work out.

The site is in Koren but it is translated through google and the instructions that left on this site make zero sense to me. I have absolutely no idea what message they are trying to convey. I tried Evan as the password but that wasn't correct. Couldn't find a password anywhere else on the site. It's really strange. I've never seen anything like this before.
