No and yes. The game it tagges: male MC, female MC. There ale 2 MCs. Got it?
Wrong. In the Overview it states:
'And, who are you? You are Ria's boyfriend.'
That says Ted is supposed to be the MC. Now if the Dev had since changed it, so Ria was also the MC on an equal footing with Ted, why would the overview still have that in it? If Ria was supposed to be an MC as you claim, the overview would state that you play as both Ria's boyfriend and Ria herself. But it doesn't.
As I've said before, Ted does not affect Ria in any meaningful way beyond the choice to enter the Love or Cheating paths. It doesn't matter whether you play Ted as being loyal or a bastard, he cant influence Ria's decision to cheat on him, if you want her to do that. Which contradicts what the Dev claims in the Developer's Notes. And since this game is basically about Ria becoming a Singer, and what she's prepared to do to achieve that. Essentially from that moment, Ted is relegated to a secondary protagonist. You can still make decisions for him, but his choices no longer change anything for Ria. From that moment on she is the MC, because all the important choices that affect her direction within the game are hers alone. And since she's the title character, that means she's making all the running.
Personally, I'm quite happy for her to be the MC. Ted's philandering content is ok, but it's not really what I'm here for. My quibble, is that the game doesn't follow the path that is set out in the Overview and the Developer's Notes. I think it should be amended to reflect the game as it's become. It gives entirely the wrong impression, that you're playing this game mainly from Ted's POV, which is why I initially gave this game a wide berth, since I prefer to play mainly as a female character.
