Very very true.to the devs it is. but you cant really expect those type to know how to make a love path can you.
Wow... Agreed. This game gets most of the income from NTR fans. So, they tend to satisfy their fans. Yes, they doing good love content which equals amount of ntr content, but when it comes to NTR routes, they tend to make better animations (like nancy in boss's room is "the best" long animation), her extraordinary tattoo, her gangbang in japan. These are some of the best work done by these devs which you won't see in other NTR games. That's why it got nearly 750 patreons which we won't see in other NTR games. All the NTR fans are heavily invested in this game because they don't get high quality 3dcg rendering games very easily in a niche kink category like NTR.
But, when it comes to love route, you won't see nothing extraordinary in this game which will feel us unique compare to other ordinary routine vanilla/harem games.
(yes, if devs want, they can make extraordinary ideas, scenes, animations, optional kinks like hardcore, bdsm, petplay, piss in love routes too. There are famous vanilla/harem games like sisterly lust who introduced many kinks like those I mentioned & kept it optional.).
And If you observe first three chapters (before locking the routes), I'm sure, anyone with common sense will understand that this game is primarily intended to be a NTR game. These devs and their most of the fans tend to see girls in game to be with other guys than MC. So, that's why we have optional path in love route like chance of potential LI sleeping with other guy than MC. This game is not fully MC oriented, even in love path too. Even, most of the fans (yeah NTR fans) call him as Jack (default name) but not as MC.
Backup your save folder (stored in game_Data/StreamingAsset folder) and download the updated game client from dev's post her. Reinstall the game and put your save folder into the new game folder (game_Data/StreamingAsset folder).I can't load the save files. It says "This content is not available for you at this time". I'm trying to load Chapter 3.
Dont give bad ideas they will make it to pay for itThis game desperately need a gallery
what are you on about? the game is freeDont give bad ideas they will make it to pay for it
Maybe you should have check their discord first before posting weird assumptions. Most or their supporters are here for the NTR, yet they choose to prioritize the dark path over the NTR for this update and still haven't dropped the NTR update 5 days later? What happened to a couple of days? Weird move. No more money for you.
Not to mention making it so in the last update on the NTR path you either break up or enter an open relationship, making it specifically not NTR anymore on either path. Weirdchamp.
OK honestly my bad. I dont use their discord, but I am on their patreon and I saw the poll post but didn't see it was also an update. Bag resecured.Maybe you should have check their discord first before posting weird assumptions. View attachment 928131
So I might not be best person to answer this, but AFAIK it's something to do with with the game requiring online connection because it checks for updates when you boot up the game. I also believe that you can disconnect the connection after the game checks for updates if the players are insistent on having it offline(maybe someone else chime in on this). If you want details, you can try searching the thread a bit since this topic have been discussed to hell and back IIRC.I had a question about the lack of updates on f95 relating to this game. I get that it went to a "free after 30 days format" and the updates stopped getting posted. My confusion stems from how is this any different than a game like Lab Rats 2 (free after a week)? Is it because of the online updates?
Kronos Time Titan operates under the same type of Patreon log in format with many features permanently behind a pay wall (at least currently) and it is updated regularly on this site. Did someone from The Spellbook's dev team piss someone from f95 off and this is a low key way to attempt to kill the game?
I understand that piracy irks many game creators. I also understand that under this developing industry's focus on a patronage system: a quality relationship must form between a content creator and their patrons. F95 is currently the best site for an individual to find the games they want to play as well as the games they want to fund.
I wasn't sure if I should submit this as a ticket, because I may just be fundamentally misunderstanding the nature of this site. If it is only about posting and updating "pirated" games, why do we have free and community created games on the site? If The Spellbook did something to deserve this penalty, wouldn't posting on its first page explaining its violation be a good idea to make an example of it for other game developers?
I appreciate any assistance and clarification! Thank You!
I updated my post so that all of the addressed issues are in the same place. The problem with the earlier conversations in this thread regarding ending updates was that it became highly disjointed due to the "conversation drift" that tends to happen in this communication format. In that drift there was not a clear and concise ruling fully addressing this issue. There did see to be some animus displayed, which is what led me to ask if something transpired behind the scenes. Thank you-- I appreciate your helping me refine my concern. So I might not be best person to answer this, but AFAIK it's something to do with with the game requiring online connection because it checks for updates when you boot up the game. As far as the content of the game goes, everything is free to play. Patreons will have access to the newest updates and free users will have access to the updates from the previous month. It's essentially a staggered(?) release for the free users and they're not losing out on any content
Devs don't have control over the first page so they can't make any changes to it. I'm assuming the mods won't be posting anything on the first page regarding the violation(?) since they would've made the changes already if they were willing.
It is all about the semi-DRM that force players to be online to launch the game. OP gets updated as soon as someone is able to crack it or dev provides an offline version. Is it because of the online updates?
