Escaping a city in a zombie apocalypse (which took less than 12 hours to trigger mind you). Something that a far better written game could spend chapters upon chapters exploring, here is over in done with a dozen lines of dialogue (yes, the MC just talks to himself the entire time) and half as many still frames.
Seriously, the game goes from bad nonsense spy-thriller to bad zero-threat zombie apocalypse and back to bad nonsense spy-thriller so fast that is causes whiplash.
Also, is Alyna supposed to be a massive cunt?
Cause that's how you write dialogue for a massive cunt.
I'm only 10 minutes into this game, and I'm so checked out. The writing needs a native English proofreader, so we can avoid gems like '...listening to a music' or '...passion is for a literature'. Everything is nonsense. The game begins
in medias res and uses that not to do anything interesting or exciting, but rather just a boring exposition dump; but only for the backgrounds of the supporting cast rather than actually explaining any of the spy-thriller-secret-agent-bullshit that is going on with the MC.
At the point when the MC is talking to the AI in his spy-work-phone (that he just used call his mom and sister) and it promises to destroy anything that approaches this tropical island mansion/safehouse, is the point where I checked out entirely. This shit is fucking nonsense, nothing here makes any sense or has any weight to it, and the game is actively trying to make me not care about anyone or anything (and it is succeeding). If the game can't be bothered to take any of this shit seriously, why should anyone else?
