Glad to see more from Viitgames. I may repatronize again in the future although my finances took a turn to the worse.
But first, I would like to see if the consistency he showed in "Haley's story" with updates at every month (with at most 1-2 days of delay) holds in this one too.

Feels nice to be back in the saddle, knowing that our little project will be going forward.
Other than that I don't have much to say yet. We're working on the new update. It should be on time.
Oh. And we plan on doing the animations in a different way this time. Meaning making actual movie files, rather than using the engine. This should cut down significantly on the filesize.

I'm not sure if fakeness is the proper term. Is it some of her gestures that seem fake or clichée? Or is it the face that looks a bit like 30/40 pinup models with the thin and round-arch high eyebrows. She definitely gives those vibes and they, for the lack of a better word, feel like fakeness or something. Not exactly my taste.
I did like Haley in Haley's story, though. So although I'm not sure I'll warm up to the main LI (if the redhead even is the main LI), I'm still going to give it a try sometime.

Since the blonde niece of the redhead is the 'brat' in the title, I suspect she is the ultimate target for the MC. I also suspect that the redhead will fulfil the 'Adriana' role in this game.
I hope that 'pretty lobby girl' will get some attention.

I wasn't sure. The redhead has the most preview images and I also can't see a real age difference. More like older sister younger sister, not mother respectively aunt and niece depending on perspective.

If you have sisters who are far apart in age, you can easily have the child of the older sister the approximate age of the younger sister. My father was only a couple of years older than his eldest sister's son, and they used to hang out together. It can happen if you have a big family, and the eldest seriously helps raise the youngest. It probably happened more often in the past when that type of a family was more common.
In this case, the blonde is still in college, while the redhead is obviously beyond that stage of her life. They look similar in age because that's the way the developers want it. At least they didn't use Honey Select or Koikatsu models, where the only way you can tell the MC's grandmother from his daughter is by hair color and glasses.

Yeah. She was 54 when she got pregnant, back when the risks for a woman her age was a very big deal, but she brought him to term. You'd expect a child that much younger that his/her siblings would have been spoiled rotten, but he was a great guy. Served in the Navy and went on to have family of his own.All the possibilites
I was working for my cousin in his hardware store when his daughters would show up with their uncle. Bouncing him around to keep him from crying, while they waited to be picked up by their grandmother. Sounds crazy, but it was completely natural. So much of real life doesn't fit our stereotypes.

Hey
It's done. The first update in our new game. We still have a few minor gui things to improve on. And we still don't have music in the game. We're hoping to add that along side the next update.
As I've said in the higher tier post, we'll also be changing image format back to webp. I thought that png might deliver a better image quality. But we're on our first update, and it's already closing in on 1GB due to image file size. That's just not sustainable. So, we're going back to webp. That should reduce the file size by more than two thirds.
Like I said, this will be a shorter game than Haley. I'm thinking we might finish this one in 1 year, maybe a year an a half. But take that with a grain of salt.
Anyway, we hope you'll enjoy the ride.

Haven't played this release yet, but I can tell you that there is still no sex in the game as yet.
However there is a choice. It looks like we need to make an early choice between Belle and Elena. Whether that will be a permanent route separation is unknowable, but a variable is set up or down depending on the choice, and a good bit of the end of this release is divided between the two. That type of variable would actually allow for 3 routes: Belle, Elena, and balanced.
