" Most male players probably dont really want to play as an evil female MC that tortures other women. "
Honestly i'm mostly here for that one.
Fully agree. I am male, and am here for Rebecca as well.
It is far easier for me to identify with a dominant character, be they male or female, than with a submissive one.

And your game is great, JustXThings.
In my opinion your lack of clicks lies, as already said by others, in a lack of exposure.
The updates are very far between, it hurts a lot.

A lack of Patreon (or rather Subscribestar, as Patreon might have a problem with the game) hurts as well.
Not wanting to “milk” the subscribers is commendable, but you could, for example, just charge per update and/or pause subscriptions after a couple of months without an update. Regular communication with subscribers could help exposure as well.

As is, this is a hidden gem, literally one of the best and least known VN’s here, which could become vastly more popular with just a bit more exposure to the public.

JustXThings, you've mentioned you have (had?) donations running for Clara, but I can't find a way how to donate. Being a cheapskate feeding off of the community, that would be the first time for me paying for an adult game, and what's more the one I haven't even started playing yet, as I naively hope you're going to finish the Theater first and then the Clara would fill the void after. And I would do that gladly, if that would at least marginally boost you and get you going, but Itch.io gives me just free download option.
Pretty please, I've seen pretty much all the projects I find exceptional being abandoned and those humping on the overused patterns and focusing mostly on aggressive marketing and pleasing the crowds make tons of cash. I'm sick of that in real life too, so it hurts to see that happen in the nerdy community as well.
I've read hundreds of novels in my lifetime, probably close to a thousand (also bought most of them :D ) and I believe that your storytelling would work well even without a explicit porn visuals. The tension your characters have and the way you build your scenes is good alone. Have you considered writing it into a novel(ette) in you native language to get some accomplishment outside of the hobby zone?

is this game abandoned?
No but slow development. Dev is taking a break away from this site and from doing dev logs etc. Updates will come when they come.

That was the nice me. The asshole me says do you see the fecking abondened tag anywhere????

No??

There's your answer then....

Maybe the dev should make his game known on other platforms, also have what the games on this page normally have, which are Patron, SubscribeStar, Discord, Twitter, although at first he said that this is something that only does because he likes it and doesn't want to have the pressure of having to set deadlines, it seems that he is very meticulous with what he does, maybe too much...

As for popularity, it must be honest that it is very difficult, since the concept of the game clashes with the interests of the majority, those who like corruption and old bastards and those who like roads without cocks and want it to be pure lesbian, even though most things are avoidable some are necessary for the story she wants to tell, personally as long as Rebecca is the one in charge I'm in, if not you're killing me the best part of the story.

The 3 protagonists are undoubtedly a gem, especially Rebecca, who is one of my favorite characters of all the games on this page, and I would also like more people to know her because she deserves more visibility in this medium.

Although she prefers not to show anything and focus on writing, it would be tremendously positive to publicize the game and keep the game's fans active, otherwise they begin to ask if this is abandoned and lose faith in following it.

Anyway, I'm sure the story will continue because it would be a crime to create someone like Rebecca and not continue her story, what happened to her little sister? Why did she make Agnes suffer? Would love flower in this dark world? When would she put a leash and cat ears on Paula? These are questions that continue to torment me.

Cat ears ? Well, that was a parallel timeline.

Please don't, that just then fills up my news feed with junk when I only want to see actual posts from devs. There's devs of games I'm interested in that that I can't follow because they do that. Really should be a way to filter it thinking about it.

If it's only about reactions, you should be able to shut that off:
But I haven't tried that, so I can't say for sure if it's working.
It's not about notifications of reactions to your own messages... but if you're following someone (like a dev of a game so you see all their posts - how I knew about the one above) then if they're someone that likes every comment your news feed gets spammed full of "___ reacted to ___'s post in thread ___" and you've gotta try and skim through it all to see if there are any that say replied rather than reacted so you can find the actual dev comments about updates and things... this post finally pushed me to make a suggestion about being able to turn off reactions for people you follow in the news feed, so if there is a way to actually do it then I'm sure I'll get called out over there, haha.

Don't follow the dev then, just follow the thread

Hi everyone. Congrats on the game. I just don't understand if there is a guide or a logical thread to follow to unlock everything or if there is only one plot and you simply watch the scenes in sequence, that is, first those of a character until you reach a point where where you can't move forward momentarily, then you move on to another girl's story, and then return to the first one... Do you have any suggestions on the matter? Thank you

You answered your own question ;)

There are choices yes but they happen in the manner you stated.
