Yes, the copy in the front page is the cause of the "No Response"
but there is a bug in the proper copy, where it's not saving progress, unless you use the auto save only

It means, you are using the wrong crack for the version of the game you are playing
You can confirm what version of the game you have by checking the bottom right of the main menu

It's a false positive
you need to update Windows Defender
I've tested it with Malwarebytes and Eset and both have said it's clean

Unfortunately that's the case with Windows Defender, while decent, it's not perfect and it make too many false positives for my liking, that is why I prefer using programs like malwarebytes or Eset.
Just in case, this is the version of windows defender I have

I have tried the method you said, and it can indeed complete the 920 event. But no matter how many times I repeat the trigger, i can't unlock new outfit for Janice: Fishnet stockings. Whether in the shop or in the Janice room to watch her change clothes at night, There is also the Janice bedroom scene in the 920 incident.
That fishnet stockings bug is fixed in 0.47Final
and you won't find it in the shop
and will only appear once you've done the step 921-Bedroom scene (NOT Jason's)
In regards to the Janice bedroom scene at step 920, make sure to do steps 624-626, the creator of the walkthrough missed out step 624. The part you need to sneak into Rachel House between 20:00-22:00 when you see her husband leave her house.
