Is there a way to rip or see the scenes outside of the game? As my laptop and this game do no get along at all and its basically a slideshow when i play it. I really like the game, i just can't stand waiting 30+ seconds for a text change or scene to change.

That's why I make a backup of my saves before I start testing a new release. I even backup the registry for this game.

Not really since the scenes are rendered by the game engine at runtime. Some one would need to do a capture to video for you. Does it still slideshow even at lowest settings (lowest texture quality and some lame resolution like 800x600)?
