Some people claim they corrupted some of the files and add viruses to the games on their site. I don't know how much of that is true but I think we should consider downloading anything from their site.
SVS is garbage. First of all they make money of any creator by uploading the content on their crappy hosters just to sell premium account for those crappy hosters.
Use cheat mod created for this game. Can activate background process from the cheat commands
The Mac version never needed a crack AFAIK. And indeed, it looks like the dev is now just letting it drag on for a few updates now.
You need to increase the graphics quality
Any chance the save game you are attempting to load was saved with a newer game version and you are trying to load with older game version ? I think same kind of thing happened to me once in a while when i tried to load my newer save with old game builds because the latest version was buggy .
It means there's compatibility issue with your saves.
