I know... and I get that... seriously, and again, I am not judging; lots of people would not like some of my fetishes either. What I should have said was that I thought Patreon was a really good platform and they are only restrictive with things that border on illegal IRL. So my point is, if you want to use Patreon, then just make games without incest. In this case, the story is not driven by it so there would be minimal impact to the game and story. IMO anyway.

It's interesting how you read that incest is the main offender in these cases, while rape or non consensual sex acts are not mentioned. I don't like incest, so I don't have a horse in that race. I just don't want the game to die because of it. It's hard to find a game like this.

I know that writing a good/interesting story is hard, so I command every developer who actually put effort into putting their non incest version on equal level. Rather then just a shitty attempt at hiding from big bad Patreon.

I mean it's been an issue with the industry as a whole for long time. But it might be because it's porn rather then a just a game. It's promote that sexual act, rather then just telling a story or allowing you to play as a "hero" or whatever. From what I've heard porn wont put real incest in their content as well. It's all step thing. So yeah, probably more of a porn thing rather then a game thing.

THIS. Why everyone hates rapes, blackmailing or incest in a VIDEOGAME? This is not like u go out after playing it and go for rape some people or fuck ur mom.. when u watch a film u know that the villain is not villain in the real life and if he shoots/rapes/blackmail someone is a fucking movie and didnt happen any bad.. why in this way is not the same for the people? :/

The tyrant is one of my favs games atm by far, my top 1 is babysitt, but this is possibly top2-3 for it plot, characters and posibilities in the 3 paths (romantic, corruption and NTR) and for the good form to use the forbidden tags like rape or incest, becuse is not too fake or forced like milfy city for example, where ur mom wants fuck u because yay, in this game the incest has sense, and u can choose if u want go for the good way or corrupt them.. idk, when a game let u a real sensation of choices people hate the variety of sex scenes? daaamn..

This reminds me the another case, project hot wife.. the poor dev doesnt develops a real NTR in the game yet, and people in the forum complain him for this.. when u go in EVERY other game thread u can watch everyone complain about the NTR tag for the games.. is like never people obtain what they want or people never know what they want?

Sorry for my bad english, Im not native but I hope u can understand my point.. and my best hopes for the tyrant dev and every dev that put much effort in their games making real good options for the plots, sex scenes and variety of tags like this :D

Totally agree.

But Patreon is a business and they have to be concerned about things like lawsuits, etc. especially when there is money involved. We all know how rumors and crap starts.... they have a lot of non-porn related artists and if it got out that they supported incest in any way... they could lose out. It's capitalism, which is not to be confused with our constitutional freedoms; two entirely different things. They are trying to make money and it's their decision to not allow incest so like it or not, it's totally understandable.

I don't think we are saying we hate any of it. Personally, I don't understand the incest fetish, but if that's your kink, go for it. Besides, it's not stopping me from playing the game. And I don't think any of us are saying the dev should stay away from it, I was specifically talking about Patreon. I love this game and I support the dev regardless.
