for some reason I get this error message when I try to extract. Unknown method in Assembly-CSharp.dll

Try using a different program to unzip it, winrar threw an error but it worked for me using peazip

using peazip worked mate many thanks, unsure why it didn't work with either winrar or 7zip, maybe they used peazip to archive it?

So your bypass actually checks if the input code IS NOT the actual code and then opens the cheat menu. That is quite clever!

Here's that little trick of yours for 38.1, if you don't mind.

ok so i cant be fucked with finding the code for the game so i decided to mess up the checker all together so now u can enter whatever u want and cheats will be enabled

btw i noticed the thread showing the code so now ive just wasted time

how to use

step 1 just extract the file to
TheVillainSimulator\TheVillainSimulator_Data\Managed
and overwrite when prompted

step 2 open game and press play

step 3 press escape then press O

step 4 enter a random 4 digit number into the keypad

viola

Since the bypass doesn't work and I got sick of waiting for the cheat code, I brute forced it. The cheat code for this beta is 5768. Hopefully it should work for others.

It was a bit buggy for me. The 4 times I have used it, only 3 times it worked on this version. I found just doing it again made it work for me though.
