Does anyone know where I can find the "HINT" for the Picking Tool? It won't allow me to enter the password 1238 because "perhaps there's a hint written somewhere".

I'm pretty sure the "hint" is located in the nurse / doctor room just past the vents. If you go to the trashcan in the upper right of the room, there should be a note in it. If you ever get stuck again there's also a guide posted here.

I'm on Mac and I can't figure out how to launch the game. Anyone know what to do?
I don't know what made you think the game works natively on Mac. From the OP:

Thread Updated: 2022-01-10
Release Date: 2021-12-18
Developer: natyusyo -
Censored: Yes
Version: 1.03
OS: Windows
I just dualboot on my Macbook to play these games. Does not work if you have an M1, but you could try running it through Parallels or similar.

Upscaling patch

Due to the fact that RPGM games are not resolution responsive, but rather hard-coded to a specific resolution, you should pick the patch based on the resolution height of the screen you are using. If you play the game with the 1080 patch on a 768 screen, the game will probably go off-screen or do other weird stuff.

I haven't done much thorough testing on this patch so let me know if you run into issues and I'll try to fix it if possible. The upscaling isn't perfect. The process highlighted the aliasing present on the outlines of the original sprites, so I tried feathering the edges of the upscaled sprites except for the facial expressions. This helped a little bit, but also blurred the outlines a bit and introduced some artifacts elsewhere. The things I do for porn lol. Did notice that Izumis face isn't well upscaled in some sprites, but I doubt anyone's paying particular attention to that :D Hopefully this patch will also work with the proper translation when that gets finished.

To install the patch just merge the www folder inside the archive into the one in the game installation folder. This should override a bunch of encrypted image files and a single js-file.

Obligatory disclaimer: I take no responsibility for damage caused by this patch. Use at your own discretion.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE CUT NIPPLE SUIT MOD.

Hey man, thank you for the patch. I used your 1080 patch with the fan translation version in the OP and a 1440P display. The patch seems to not work as intended; the portrait's offset is off as shown in the attached screencap.

I'm guessing you DL'd the compressed version of the game. There's some weird voodoo used in that version that changes how the sprites are displayed so the patch is not compatible with that version unfortunately. I'll add a note about that to the post.

EDIT: Alright I THINK the offset issue is because the compressed version uses unencrypted images by default, while the images in my patch are encrypted (like they were in the original version of the game). Normally, when you apply my patch to the regular version of the game, the images files would be overridden (for example file www/img/pictures/00_messe.rpgmvp), but because the compressed version uses unencrypted image files (www/img/pictures/00_messe.png - note the filename extension) the image files don't get overrided, but instead the new files are added alongside the old ones, so the game will still use the sprites from the compressed version. You COULD use the rpgm decrypter by Petschko to decrypt the image files in my patch, but that's probably a hassle too big for most folk

TL;DR Save yourself the trouble and just DL the regular, non-comprossed version of the game if you want to play with upscaled sprites.

Anyone knows what happens if you decide to use the Lockpick over the Lubrificant? You were supposed to use the lube on some lever around the ship's lower levels and it would release a bunch of tentacle dudes, but so it seems i just skipped it by picking the door's lock, you then proceed to light up the area.

It opens a door in that same floor, it's figure 39 page 24 in the walkthrough.

1 gb its pretty normal, maybe its because image quality and sound
And there are a lot on unused assets. I tried making a script for detecting which sound assets were used and deleting the unused ones. Audio folder went from ~600Mb to ~60Mb and even those could be compressed down to 20M. Though I didn't do much testing so could have deleted some necessary audio files as well :ROFLMAO:

sometimes the game maker, the uploader or even the translator, put everything together so you don't have to install like 5 versions of rpgmaker to play the game i remembering reading something like that in other post when this same question was asked hell there are game that weight like 100mb but you need like 3 different version of rpgmaker assets to play them, but if someone can enlight us better please explain xD
