Just discovered this game and I'm enjoying it. Just one potentially stupid question. I saw in the change log for this recent update that there is some kind of halfway level between level 2 and level 3 as well as some other additions. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get to them in game. I don't have much experience with .html games so this could just be me being really blind. I will have to try some of the other games from this dev though to see if they align with my interests more. I'm not a big fan of latex so I am hoping there is one with more "conventional" restraints.

The game only pops up the option if you buy the spacesuit at the merchant and you are at one of the elevators. You have to exhaust speech option 3 with the guards. Stellar Justice has more non-latex content.
How are you supposed to restore your energy after buying your freedom from Elena?
You can board the Gneisenau and use it as a home base. Make sure to buy the spacesuit from the merchant first.

just unpacked 1.6.3 and none of the images are loading on firefox. strange. didn't have this problem before.

still kinda missing the story depth from the earlier versions that hasn't yet made its way back while you've been experimenting with new systems. I am liking the new systems tho. the combat is better, I like how there are pros and cons to using certain weapons now.
I'm glad you like the new systems. It will take time until it reaches the same depth. But I'm working on it!

With Stellar Justice it is pretty much the same. Between 0.4 and 0.5 I visually enhanced or remade 80% of the renders and nobody even noticed. Yesterday I made 14 renders for the zombie side quest which is even more than the usual 10. But then I get back to the thread and I have 4 reviews that say don't bother and 3 pages of people just shredding it. It makes me feel like why bother.
I guess it is really better for me to hide for a while and wait out the half a year. Maybe the currents will be different after that and people would be more kind to these titles.
I mean it doesn't solve the issue with the smaller games like Nel's Misfortune. Like you drop it out and people will be like "YOU CALL THIS A COMPLETE GAME?????????" So that will be a nice round too. Then you will have people bringing it up even if your later titles are successful So I guess what I want to say that I thought I could make great games. Then it turned out I suck so much it isn't even funny.

I don't want to stop developing. It's something I'm very fond of. I like it much more than storytelling because I have 3d models to play with. On the other hand if you publish ch. I of a fantasy title on writing.com no one is going to say it sucks because George R. R. Martin did it better. So most of the time I'm just bracing myself because I know that some version will end up here eventually and people are going to be pissed.

To be fair I don't want to uphold the 6 month waiting time either. It's just not the dev I want to be. Locking content behind paywalls so nobody could form an opinion. But the bar is so high it isn't even funny and I have no hope to reach it.

Folks suggested I should take a break but I don't see what that would solve either. I'm a shit dev that can't make games people might find enjoyable and that's it.
