don't worry... so far the devs managed to release 6 episodes in 5 and 3/4 months... but episode 7 may contan more animations so it may take even a month and 3 weeks...
what I' saying is that they are doing their best, but due to the sheer aount of work to do, we should arm ourself with paitence

Is this game easy to play
It's easy if you ever talked to any woman... Dom worry, the dames will tell you if you said something they didn't like
Yes. It is a visual novel in Ren'py. No grind - just choices to make to get different scenes. Took me only 3 or so hours to get through it the first time. Lot of text but great sex.
You may try pornhub.... the only text is the title....
When the Ex of the MC comes into town for her daughter - will we see some action between her and the MC? Would be awesome ... you know old love never dies ... is rekindled ... and so on ...;):p
Well... there is only eight days left before her arrival... but unlike a certain other game, the ex won't be fucking other dudes if she'll be a LI. I'm not betting my arm on it, but she'll be amazing

Not sure what you are saying. There is a lot of dialog in this game - much more than others. That is the text I mean. For example the phone call with Tammy, and the conversations between Jenna and the MC; takes a bit of time to read. But the reward is worth it.

Hello, thank you for making this game! On a playthrough I was doing, I chose to play the main character as genuinely put out by his ex dumping this girl Jenna on him for two weeks (as that initial dialogue option suggests). As such, I was rude to Jenna at every possible turn, showing no interest in her whatsoever. Naturally you can imagine my dismay to discover that no matter how dismissive I behave I am forced into romantic options. The most prominent example is when I refuse to "prank" her but then later am forced to "prank her again" (which is kiss her, which leads to more kissing, and on and on).

I understand it is unrealistic to expect you to go back into completed episodes for anything less than game-breaking bugs, and I understand I am trying to do something counter to the main intent of the game, but is there any hope for a heartless soul such as mine to fend off the primary love interest? Despite the fact that I recognize I'm swimming against the current here, there were enough "ignore" options that I thought I was taking an actual path of cold indifference to this foolish girl who had no right being in my house in the first place (again, for this playthrough only - I actually like Jenna overall). To suddenly kiss her after all that, and then to do it when the MC knows her friend is over, and THEN to randomly ask her out on a date as though it were not only desired but also a sure thing she would never refuse, all felt like I was railroaded sort of out of the blue. I wasn't even able to insult her dress (actually, by this point in the game all the MC does is gush about her - basically no more rude options)!

To be clear: I like this game. I really hope you enjoy working on it, because I really hope it continues. Keep up the good work! I simply wanted to relay an experience I had - namely, that there were enough options early on that I thought I was on a legitimate path through the game only to have the metaphorical rug pulled out from under me. If one day you have some time to kill, or are waiting for something else to finish up, would it be at all possible to take a peek back and either tweak/add some dialogue early on so players know the MC cannot resist Jenna (love at first sight, she's too persistent, the MC's heart is moved by something she does and he loses himself, etc) OR tweak/add some dialogue later on so that you don't have to "prank her again", don't start kiss-training, and don't ask her out after shutting her down at every turn (or, if asking her out is mandatory, make it clear the MC is doing it out of obligation as a "friend" thing and not for romantic reasons)?

If you read all this, I appreciate it! I wish you all the best with your game, and will keep an eye out for future updates!

But, why?

The developer is unlikely to change the game to suit you. So, if the only route you are playing ignores such an important character, when you continue ignoring her in the next update, you are likely to experience similar scenes that confound you.

Personally, when a game I am playing takes a turn that I don't like, or doesn't satisfy, I play something else. It's a lot less frustrating that way.

Of course, perhaps there are other characters that do appeal to you. I guess you can pursue them. But that won't change what happens with Jenna. You will still be forced into scenes with her, but will never experience any of the best events with her.

well... I think your criticism is valid and you you raise a few valid points, but! it was hinted multiple times that Jenna was hell-bent in love with the MC. For example when she shows MC the mean posts, the OP that she wrote states how she's more interested in older guys, she also resents her mother and my guess is that it's because the rumors took MC away from her.

You mean that in a game named "Thirsty for my Guest" the guest is meant to be the main LI... Seriously, what were you expecting?

as is the case in many great games..dev's add dames many want alot more than the one they intentioned to be "the choice" Jenna definitely from how the choices concerning her do not really seem to matter is the dev's "choice" and it is their game..so ya gotta do the Jennasaur ..Everybody do the Jennasaurrrrr....but then ya add autistic frownykins Goldy who is adorable and Waifu Audrey who is so PREGNANT!!! along with Kitty loves milkies and poured on liquid dress Tits Mac Bigguns...Cosplay Ginger nerd hottie triple J's...a cop wanting to cuck her hubby and a Linda/Lauren noone really cares about and being forced along the Jenna path can become an issue for many...do i want an option to push Jenna aside that actually works?..sure..i have multiple playthroughs of the game and wouldnt mind that...but i think we are too far in for that to change past choices..so only hope is for future updates..there was hope this update with a certain choice of how to proceed with her...perhaps that is the one that finally matters? :p

You all are quite right, of course: as I said initially, I was playing "Thirsty For My Guest" as though I wasn't thirsty for the guest (swimming against the current). I didn't waltz into the game expecting or intending to be able to do that. The reason I had a concern was that once I started the game I seemed ABLE to play that way and thought it might be fun to give it a try. Once I went down that road (and it did seem like it was a legitimate road for a while at least), all of a sudden the road ended and my playthrough went off a cliff. All I was asking for was a proverbial "Road Closed" sign earlier on, or the completion of the road. And yes, I am fully aware the dev is under no obligation to do anything at all for me or anyone like me. No worries!

Walter Victor , I'll keep an eye out for future updates because, as I mentioned, this was just one playthrough I was doing - there will be content for me, just perhaps not anymore for this particular playthrough :)

Kukothemadhatter I am really grateful you read and considered everything I said. I really only hoped for the dev to fully read it through, since I figured ardent Jenna defenders would roast me over a slow fire because they misunderstood my point. Thank You! As to what you were saying about Jenna loving the MC, I totally agree! I thought it would have been really cool to continue to reject her, only to have her get more and more persistent. Especially when there wasn't an arbitrary game over after each of my rude/dismissive decisions! And who knows, maybe something she did could have thawed my MC's cold heart and won him over. But that was all only because I thought it was an actual way to play. I hope the dev takes the time to understand what I was saying the same as you did!

riktor No, as I tried to make clear in my post, it wasn't that I went into the game thinking "The only way to play this is not go after the titular love interest! Wait, I can't not do that? WTF, this game sucks!" What happened was, I saw all the rude/ignore options, took them, and was (mis)led into thinking it was an actual legitimate playthrough. An alt-path through the game. If you try it (don't), you will see that it actually seems like a story pattern... right up until it abruptly isn't. THAT is the part I was affected by, and what I wanted to mention. I fully understand I wasn't doing things the way I was supposed to! It just seemed like I was able to play that way, and would have preferred to know I couldn't sooner or been allowed to continue.

ThunderRob You're a funny guy! I see you all over the place. And your point about multiple playthroughs is exactly why I'll keep following the game - it's what I do too! Gotta Catch 'Em All and all that, right? It's interesting that you say Lauren is the one nobody cares about, though, because on this particular playthrough of "Reject Jenna" I was honestly taken by surprise by Lauren. I was actually coldly refusing everyone, considering the MC's expressed desire for privacy, but Lauren... idk, I liked the idea of going full traitor on Jenna and in the midst of that mindset actually found I liked Lauren's personality on top of that. I really thought I had an actual surprising story unfolding in this playthrough, where through resenting Jenna the MC met someone he actually really liked - Jenna's nemesis. Plus I'm getting yandere vibes from Lauren, and I always find yandere characters entertaining. But no worries - I was already doing my own thing with the rude/ignore options, so I guess I can sit in the Lauren corner by myself too! :p Either way, thanks for reading what I said!

I like the way this guy talks and doesnt yell and attack but rather explains in a non-confrontational manner. (y)
I wish more peeps on f95 would behave this way. ( And before anyone on the thread gets mad thinking im talking abkut them, i am not referring to anyone on this thread! Talking about how some peeps just go full throttle aggresively attacking)
Welcome to the site and community dude

It's probably been said already but man, this game really seems like it's supposed to have an incest patch.
