Thank you! This is exactly the sort of info I was looking for. Sounds perfect, and if your comment didn't convince me, your signature did; DM and OIAL are both spectacular imo, I've actually been replaying both within the last few days.It's ridiculous the discussion is still a thing, it's a very short optional sequence from a few updates ago. It's taking a lot of discussion away from the recent update and what people are enjoying about the game itself.
Give the game a try. The initial premise is kind of tropey, but it develops surprisingly well over the course of the game. The LI's are modeled very nicely have a lot of characterization and nice buildup, and there's a lot of content already present with them and many side characters. The last few updates have significant increases in story quality + content, so the dev is trending in the right direction. They just need a bit of extra support and publicity to keep this underrated game running

Well, then a good part of the update 0.6 was a huge waste of time that for myself would be better used with a real LI.
All this aside a very good update, a lot of action and I am very happy that things with Triss are starting to moving because she is my favorite girl.

Dark Magic and Once In A Lifetime are absolutely awesome games, they have sooo much content and excellent characterization. I honestly wouldn't say This Is Not Heaven is at their level yet - however, it's trending in the right direction. I tend to use this website to end up checking out games I hadn't heard of yet, because there's a lot of talented developers out there who may not be given a chance because certain games hog all the attention. I know how much time it takes to do rendering, modeling, and programming, and it's a lot of work if you're doing a passion project that doesn't receive attention or pay to support it. So I like to patron several games that I feel are underrated and absolutely deserve numbers that other games get. DM and OIAL are probably my 2 favorite, as I honestly think they deserve first or second page numbers compared to a lot of other lazy/milking creations out there.
Back to TINH, though. I thought it was alright for the first few updates, but the past couple of updates have really picked up the pace and you can tell the development of the game is much improved. The sheer amount of content that came in just this last update was definitely proof that this game has a future, all it needs is more attention on this forum to bring in supporters. It's for that I actually just subscribed to Altered Vision. Triss and Lila are my personal favorites on this game, and Lila has a very, very unique relationship with the MC that brings extra reason for me to see this story to the end. While the game isn't perfect yet, I do enjoy it with each update. One way it can possibly be improved is to take a page from Once In A Lifetime - that game is fucking hilarious. Maybe more funny moments might mesh well with this type of story and make it easier to jump into.

That's because it didn't happen. In the latest update the MC was drugged at the meeting and then woke up at home naked. He has memories of the meeting prior to drinking, some vague memories of other things, then nothing.
I have no idea why someone would say that the MC died beyond either not understanding what happened or trolling.

Yeah Jill was my favorite with Alison as a strong second but they all got knocked down by one when Eli showed up.
Oh ok. I am curious whether the alcohol was already drugged when that guy delivered it or if it was someone at the meeting but figuring what happened there should be interesting.
