Then in comes the ship scene and then it all goes to shit, agency is lost, character development is butchered as CJAM2002 so well pointed out in the past page, and the MMC moves for no reason from becoming increasingly strong throughout the game, to inmediately becoming a cuck and even being called pathetic by his own wife. Then she gets thrown into jail when the most obvious plot moves to it's obvious conclusion; at the beginning of the game she was even reluctant to take some company money from the credit card and spend it and by the last few updates she's signing legal documents left and right without reading any of them just because Kamal is there talking to her (after she realized that he just wanted to fuck her after the island scene!). So her intelligence went down the drain and they add into that the cop scene which adds pretty little to make for a "cliffhanger" that doesn't work, because all the narrative work put into the game has gone to shit by now.

Im very behind but man I think this is gonna be tough to get through. I hate seeing LI get arrested or put in jail if I like them even a tiny bit from what I played the FMC I do like enough id hate to see it haha. Just hits me different seeing something like that in an AVN vs a favorite character in a tv show / movie or video game. Then the other issues you brought sound really bad. I'm just waiting till I buy it on steam to replay it since im so behind on the game might as well lol

Apparently the v1.0 full release for Steam is going to adjust the ending a bit to allow FMCs choices prior to that point to play a role in the ending, instead of only MMCs choices.

Something like that anyway.

They seem to have removed an initial idea of having relationship points for the MCs relationship somewhere during development, without actually removing the instances of where it was supposed to be defined.

Just click ignore, the game will continue just fine, however you're going to be dealing with constant errors until the end of Chapter 2.

U confirm more or less what i said before,when i said the devs are indecied of what to do.Was better if the end was depending of relation and corruption pts,instead of having have forced scenes and end.

Wife getting spitroasted while the husband watches from inside the closet is a canonical event, set from the very beggining, this was never meant to have a "loyal path", always meant as a fuckfest.

The illusion of choice is more a illusion than ever here, they even put a story tree(click walkthrough) showing that everything is ultimately linear.

One plus is that the wife could pop up in Lust Bound(too bad Lust Bound is last on Inceton's list) in the future, though at this point i'm not sure if she'll be still working for V or radically against V at the time, better to hide the secret for now.

Developers make outrageous promises on a lot of games, but often they don't prove true, whatever he said this game seems as linear as it gets.
The husband always gets cucked, the whole game up to that point is on flashback mode... it always happens.
I don't even know if we can make the husband have a different reaction besides being aroused from watching his wife get spitroasted, is it possible to have him angry wanting to end things?


In case it wasn't clear enough the Lust Bound thing is a separate thing from your post.
A younger version of a Lust Bound character(Daisy the sex shop salesperson) appears in ToT, meaning Lust Bound is a couple of years in the future.
The FMC/wife from ToT is either going to end up as a corrupted V employee or a big V hater, and Lust Bound is about V resorts...
So it's possible for her to show up in future chapters of Lust Bound, she exists in the same universe and she has a connection to the V company.

Another fake choice, at the police station she still calls him for help so when season 2 comes they will still be together.

They said the game would be released on Steam in July, but it’s finally coming out on August 15.
Depending on the time zone, it’ll likely be released on August 14 in Europe.
