Hmm... I have no idea what could be causing the issue. Have you tried a different browser? Maybe try redownloading the game...
how to quit a poker game. i think i used a back arrow (but what if someone would want to quit in the middle of the session ...was it a casino? though i am not sure if anyone would decide to play a poker instead of searching for something lewd ...maybe to add some autoplay option ...or RNG slots machines instead for some quick toying...still dubious ... )

For me is Zoe aso buged, I get no text from Charlotte it doesn`t matter if I work with her correct. After I read here I turored with her 3xtimes correct after it I wait for a text nothing. You can look at my save.

It's not that hard. I'd suggest just playing the game though, it's what I did.
I'm not going to write a tutorial on how to do this as they are out there already.
The biggest issue you face is that lots of variables might be linked together, ie: 4 or 5 values might all be related, and that changing 1 without the others will make no sense to the code, corrupting your playthrough, skipping event triggers, and require you reload from before you made the changes.
Changing things like how much cash you have should be easy once you do some research on surgarcube and using your browsers console.
"SugarCube.State.active.variables" (see everything)
"SugarCube.State.active.variables.player.main" (see player related stuff)

Is there a guide page somewhere ? I am having a difficult time tying to figure out were to go and and how to make cash early in the game not to mention the game could use a world map and zone map other than that the game seems interesting .
There's a walkthrough linked on the OP. And there's a map on your in-game phone that shows the exterior locations and how they connect to each other.

The dev is still active, but this game seems to be sort of a side project for them, and they occasionally release updates for this one while mostly focusing on their other game, Devilish Business. So I would say this game isn't dead, but I wouldn't hold my breath expecting regular updates.
It's not dead, just on the back-burner at the moment. I haven't had a lot of time lately to work on it, but I fully intend on getting back to it soon.
Well, I, for one, hope the heat gets turned up a bit on that back burner. Really enjoying this one. Like the premise and execution, so far. For similar reasons that I like College Daze. The two of them are just about my fave HTML games here.
