Well, I'm shocked to see how many people hated this game, personally, I loved everything, the looping it's skippable from the 2nd loop onwards, so I don't understand the complaints, the story is very intriguing, and the plot advances well, UI is really terrible though outside of that, no complaints.

I hope the developer is capable to keep working consistently on it, very good game that does not "play it" itself, a rarity these days.

If anyone is interested, even if you cheat adding Insanity points with the mom, the cutscene has not been created yet so there's nothing as of now.

Been putting off this VN for over 2 years lol. Was reluctant to give it a try as all 'Groundhog Day' games are absolute trash.
This though is really good. The ONLY 'Groundhog Day' VN worth playing.

Only big issue is that it insists you're done as soon as you've completed one 'advanced' loop, no matter what the outcome is. So if I hadn't gone looking through the images directory I would have entirely missed the main plot of act 2, the party.

So .. there is no win condition and there is no wisdom to be gained even doing the many paths. The problem is that, narratively, the story never gives advancement avenues and the uncolored shadowy character, much to the dismay of a Bleach total fan who loved the Hollow Ichigo moments all throughout the series, there is nothing to gain from the monologue of the doppelganger at the end of every path, there is no back and forth dialogue to show or tell of any different ways to move the story forward.

What is even more chaotic is how the whole premise is about how ” You have been accused of the murder of Melissa, a student from the high school you recently started attending. Before you can understand what is happening, you are killed as well ” while the latest game update available has a supposed Melissa date - like, how? She is dead as a start for your back in time loop, how can MC go back further to allow for time to pass and get on a date with her? MC never gets any wiser as Sam always tells MC Melissa is single, yet the bully keeps thrashing MC out of jealousy and there are several girls worshipping her apparently - who are never ever seen in her general vicinity, let alone near her, yet all those insane people keep getting MC killed over and over.

Clearly one of the best games, with good gameplay but above all an amazing, original, and very well-written story — full of depth, meaning, and everything needed not only for a great AVN but also simply for a good novel. Even the second game seems perfect; it’s incredible that an author can have so much talent.
The only problem is that the updates take far too long, and even if the next one comes out, the game will still remain incomplete. Unfortunately, I’ve already bought games for €80 that were enjoyable for about 10 hours… and that I never touched again. But here, even though it’s a good game, I wouldn’t give another cent. I’ve defended, body and soul, games that took too long between updates, sometimes even several years of inactivity, but now I just can’t take it anymore! It’s too much. And those who know me know that I’m patient — and despite all the love I had for this game, I find this situation far too serious. A disappointment that’s hard to fix. The only miracle would be if the next update were the complete game, which is impossible…

If the path is straight up unimplemented why is it not marked like the "don't provoke the asshole" option earlier in the game? Especially if the mechanic used to unlock it is strongly documented in the game but then apparently never used for anything else. You gave me one clearly marked key, one clearly marked keyhole, and nothing to say "these don't work yet".
