It’s long past the time to be labeled as 'abandoned.' Other games went without updates for less time and already were. I don’t know what’s so special about this one.

Simply put, it does not yet meet the requirement for an abandoned prefix on F95 but it will in a little under two months no matter what unless v12 drops before then.

sounds like a whole lot...is a whole lot, of the same....he could easily have said much less, truth be told, the last sentence actually says a lot more to me, implying he needs an upgrade for his dated hardware, so if patreons wish for more content, pay some more for his new toys...or maybe im just being a cynic...

I wonder what excuse he’s going to give on Patreon now. Honestly, it’d be so much simpler to just say he lost his creativity or motivation and that he’s going to focus on his new game.
There'd be no point, since all his work on this game was finished ages ago... He literally had nothing more he could work on with this game, just waiting for Aesouh to finish his work.
That's been public knowledge for a long time, including in this thread. So instead of sitting around doing nothing, Motkeyz got on with his next project, here.

You defend Motkeyz a lot and always blame Aesouh. Are you his lawyer or something? Every post you make is like that. Motkeyz is just as responsible as Aesouh for this sad ending to a very good game. Given the time it took, it would have been possible to have done the ending of the game on another type of program and there wouldn't have been so many angry patrons or loss of them. Anyway, choices, right? Play fair with your fans and you will never lose their respect.
Now I will wait for your comment criticizing me and defending Motkeyz and blaming Aesouh (does this guy really exist or is he just a ghost to divert attention?)

Correcting someone who's spoken in error due to a lack of information is not the same as defending someone or something.
Sort of, but not in the way you mean.
He chose to partner up with Aesouh and use his proprietary Unity derived VNGine that only he can use, which made him critically integral to the development of both Timestamps games.
If he knew back then how this would wind up going down, I'm sure he'd have made a different choice and probably started learning Ren'Py before releasing the first part of Unconditional Love.

So this game is completely abandoned? God I regret getting so entranced by the story of this game, feels like I've wasted hours of my life now, SUCH BS!
And what did he do after he got to KNOW?? simply, he did NOTHING after saying once that if Aeosh can't give any update, he will port it to Ren'Py by himself, and that also he said 10 months ago.. Now, I guess by saying that, he made a great mistake, as he has no interest in working in that game. Here many expert says that porting renpy shouldn't take that long and guess what he still haven't considered porting it in Ren'Py despite knowing that Aeoush would never finish it
Here's an idea... Go and bitch about it somewhere that actually matters, like his Patreon.
