And what did he do after he got to KNOW?? simply, he did NOTHING after saying once that if Aeosh can't give any update, he will port it to Ren'Py by himself, and that also he said 10 months ago.. Now, I guess by saying that, he made a great mistake, as he has no interest in working in that game. Here many expert says that porting renpy shouldn't take that long and guess what he still haven't considered porting it in Ren'Py despite knowing that Aeoush would never finish it
Here's an idea... Go and bitch about it somewhere that actually matters, like his Patreon.

Didn't unity die ? that alone was a dead giveaway on this dying unless he pulls a whole conversion to Repy

Mot never said this.
He actually did say that on his discord sometime last year when the delays were only a few months. However, he said porting it to ren'py would be a last resort, not something he'd be doing unless he had no alternative (I believe at the time he hadn't had communications from aesouh). At this point there are no active plans for a ren'py port.

No, despite all the efforts by the company to destroy their reputation and drive away all it's users it's still around although not nearly as popular as it once was.

after its controversy i stop receiving news about them so i assumed the platform died.

Maybe his new game is the reason he's using renpy to test out if he decided to port over ?

Well it was either build Alternate Worlds with Renpy or continue waiting on Aesouh and his "VNgine". At the end of the day though, Renpy is simply a much better kit for VNs.

As far as TS though, Mot hasn't given any indications that he's ready to (or even willing to) rebuild TimeStamps with Renpy yet, which seems especially unlikely now with AW already kicked off. I think the game plan going forward is to focus on AW for now and wait for Aesouh to finish TS.

Not surprising. They got bumped way down the algorithm thanks to their own idiocy.

Anyway was thinking the same thing about their new game. While porting a game to a new engine as a means to learn it has some advantages it also runs the risk of having to abandon or spend a huge amount of time reworking it cause the new engine just refuses to do something the old one did. Doing it with a new game gives you the chance to test the functions and if they all work you can always go back to the old game later. On that note given their games are 2d point and click VN's I can't think of anything Unity will do that Ren'Py won't while having a lot less bloat and being more "community mod" friendly to get around those pesky patreon issues; something I'm fairly certain their new game will run afoul of eventually judging by the preview images, I mean you just don't put a cupcake like that daughter in an AVN if she's not on the player's menu. Worse comes to worse they could always switch to Godot.
