Huh. Why not just use renpy? It does that too but you don't have to run it in unity.

But the reason there's been no development is because there was something of an issue with one of the devs, and as a result, production was temporarily halted. They're back in touch and are working towards continued development of the game

I generally try to avoid criticizing devs if issues come up in their lives that they need to step away. Shit happens. We all know it and it aint our business to pry. That being said though... there's no good reason for ghosting your partner. I'm glad Mot is seriously considering the Ren'Py port now. I never liked VNgine anyway.

Well I think its about time to stop following this VN, it was great (though I still never liked the MCs face), with all the developer BS and whatnot going on, its best to be moving on. For all the supporters, keep in mind that you pay for a service, like any other. If you not getting anything for it, move on.

Motkeyz is already developing their next game. If you want to view this in a transactional way of that kind, there you have it.
This one will get its closure one way or another down the road, either with Aesouh showing up again or a solo Ren'Py remake by Motkeyz. At least that's what I still hope for, I'm obviously no soothsayer.
