I assume you didn't click on the unrated flag on the main menu.

I did actually. Though it was just a flag symbol and not the words "unrated". I'm on 32bit pc if that helps

your processor architecture doesn't matter. If you followed the instruction correctly (not extracting the file and simple save it in language folder) you will see an unrated flag in the main menu on which you need to click to select.
