Great to see this being revitalized! Looking forward to meeting the princesses again.
That old saves won’t work isn‘t really a problem to me. 1. I can‘t remember much of the story, since it‘s been so long (I still remember that I liked the story and the beautiful characters) and 2.This way I can see the new textures in all their glory.
That the freeroam wasn‘t added is a bit of a double edged sword to me. On one hand it needs to be implemented in a „good“ way, so it doesn‘t feel tedious. On the other hand I saw the possibility that seeing an extra scene in freeroam and gaining information that way to maybe make story scenes play out differently. But maybe that wasn‘t even intended so I‘m not too sad about seeing that it wasn‘t implemented.

It would be really handy if the mods or who ever types this " New start is required. Old saves won't work " would put the version number next to it as well, so we can know at a glance if its current info or not.

Seeing a new update for this game makes me so fuckin' happy. Downloading and will play it later tonight. ITroy, you an MVP.
Haven't tried it with my last save.
But if you are right...
WTF is so difficult to name it like "saves older than x.xx will not work" ?

im too spoiled to use the normal WT after getting used to use mods lmao...
all that going back and forth between the game and the WT ruins the immersion in the story... (and the action haha..)
Even without the free roam, I did a whole lot of code changes going back to the beginning in Chapter 5, so afraid you'll have to start fresh with saves. Did everything I could though to make this a one time thing because I hate having to do it too.
