He's gonna get mental breakdown after comments under his last post asking for feedback. He expects people to sub to him for vanilla content and half of comments are blatantly stating "I'm here just for evil content". Period.

They are spitting facts tho, his evil content is only really bested by noname55 while the same content in vanilla form just blends too much into the usual vanilla porn stuff while being outclassed by tons of other artists. its still good content but suddenly youre competing with the likes of hydra,nagoon,yeero,fpsblyck,idemi etc. while the beast content looks really good next to noname,zm and the few othersHe's gonna get mental breakdown after comments under his last post asking for feedback. About spicy content, that is a very broad term and it depends on the audience. There is a lot of people who like vanilla, but, due to evolution, there are more who prefer stronger things. Its not something I want to belong to for a long time, in the end it takes its toll and like other artists I will have to abandon it for health. That's why I'm aiming for vanilla.
Can't blame him I guess but it does seem like wasted potential, and profit.

about that... this guy is weird, he could make a lot of money with the evil stuff, but he refuses to do it for whatever reason, maybe he is scared of going to jail or something, maybe it's illegal in his country ( like General Butch ) I don't know, I was going to sub and try to get in the list, but yeah too late I guess, and he only replied to the people talking about the vanilla content in his feedback post, the other comments he completely ignored

i mean if he really doesnt like making the beast content and he only did it for the money i could understand why its difficult for him. you shouldnt make something that you hate doing your job or youre gonna get burned by it eventually. but thats only assuming he really doesnt like this stuff and only did it on requests. If he doesnt have an issue making beast content he should 100% go for that instead of trying to get big with vanilla content.
Probably sums up his situation perfectly; It takes time to build an audience, and it would be more beneficial to have more work out there... one way or another
.Its a double-edged sword anyways if you post for free, or have it behind the standard paywall. But, making the latter harder by locking it further behind encryption keys and end-of-the-month DMs, will most likely have the opposite effect for future growth/profit. Better to have more eyes on it than less, and not complain in front of everyone. Just post previews, the final product, then move on. (Maybe make more public polls to get general idea of what positions/characters they want to see if need be.)
Arguments can be made that theres too much futa, anal, monsters, and absolute degenerate animations out there besides vanilla; and being compared as competition to the the likes of HydraFXX, Nagoonimation, Yeero, fpsblyck, and Idemi is praise. Maybe even something to strive for and match them.
Actually, Toast is probably one of the few artists who still uses SFM that don't exclusively make WOW content, and looks good doing so. Especially for OW CONTENT, (were not getting much of that anymore.

TL;DR Dont complain publicly, overly restrict content, maybe slow down on posting to up the quality. More vanilla over degenerate content. Theres too much of the latter than the former. More Mercy content pls, thats the end of my TED Talk, thank you, buh-bye.

I agree. I miss the old OW sfm stuff sometimes, and in his patreon page he says "I have multiple jobs and my time for animations is short" still posts every week, I think he should make 2 animations per month and add variants to it, like beast or other angles/clothes not too much though, like one or two, and improve them like you said, but I believe he thinks that if he's not active every day/week people will stop paying for his content, which is a lie, everyone knows that rendering and animating takes time, if people leave it's because they didn't like his decisions or want to pay for something else. Hydra, Nagoo, Yeero etc are by miles ahead of many artists out there as they do micro-movements on their animations and exclusively render in Blender Cycles. Blender Cycles takes actual days to render in higher quality, thus it isn't sustainable for model with variations he's replicating from.
As for noname, zmsfm and few others, I noticed they have shifted a bit more towards humans/monsters. No complaints honestly but the beast type content has been tad reduced. Also noname, impressively enough, animates in SFM.
Where zmsfm renders in Blender eevee. Which isn't comparable to cycles however, it's much faster.
You can't paywall even the basic animations. You'd be directly encouraging people to pirate and share your content around. Additionally, it's so bad in terms of actual content growth. Every animator needs presentable pieces of animations. It's fine to paywall some variations, 4K versions or whatever. After all, not everyone subs out of goodwill to see the artist grow and have art as their job. Toasted not only bitches/bitched in public but also on his patreon acknowledged leaks.
Which is like the most retarded thing you can do.

The thing about those animators you mentioned is that they're at the peak of what quality can be.
You'll always have some fetish animators. However, I think more important part is to have your own spin on it. Something that differentiates you. Anal and futa re pretty standard.
Monsters... a bit less. Actual quality monster content is quite rare, I'd argue. In case of Toasted, his monster content is pretty much werewolves and that's about it.
He's pretty damn good with SFM. Arguably at the peak of what you can do with crappy software that is SFM. Hell, even in terms of quality or content beating some old time animators. By the way, as small correction. Majority of WoW animators use Cinema4D or combinations of other softwares to make WoW porn. Even more moving to blender. One of few who actually make quality looking WoW content are Noname and G-Works.
Toast's output is insane. Huge respect for that. He is working hard for that bread.
Here's my problem - he's in it for money. From very start, he wasn't talking about anything but money, money, money and money. If money is your only motivator, you're going to crash and burn. There is nothing worse than getting burned out, as it's incredibly hard to recover. More so when you didn't start animating for sake of art, passion etc.
More so, when previously he also had several Twitter/Patreon meltdowns and straight up cancelled his severely more successful evil content
I'd agree very much on the complaining part - never complain about money, lack of attention and shit publicly. More so when it's a slow grind and lack of attention can be fixed by spamming the anims on every r34 site in existence.
More vanilla over fetish? Naw. In all honesty - I find his vanilla content to be extremely boring and unimaginative. It's equivalent of AI generated art. It's things that have been done to no end and animations that would've been alright in 2016-2018. They just miss that... umph.
That being said - he has multiple times stated that he wants to make vanilla and his "evil" content was mostly commissions or shit he did out of pressure.
Sorry for writing a novel but this dude is just, dunno, an interesting case of "what to not do" as an animator. For example here. He made Audiodude and Oolaytiger delete the fucking video. Without understanding that these two fucking people have collectively 300K followers. Not to speak of the fact that they added FREE AUDIO to his animations lmao. Dude clearly lacks any possible business and decision making sense.
Would be so much more based to write under the post something like "Thank you very much for voicing the animation, Oolaytiger did an amazing job. It saddens me a bit that this is among many patreon exclusive but would be shame to not share this voicework!"
From twitter, also interactions that I had or saw, he seems like extremely cold and anti-social person. Which sucks when your business relies on people giving you money out of their free will. Builds up a nice relationship between people, makes them like you as person rather than a machine that craps out anims. I'd point in these cases to someone like Gifdoozer or zmsfm who are hands down one of the nicest people I had pleasure talking to. Charisma is so important.
On top of that, he doesn't seem to... really have any friends? It's so important to actually make friends with artists. Especially when starting out. You retweet theirs, they retweet yours. You both grow together.
Additionally, if you go through his replies, you can see that he's unwilling to charge more, he's unwilling to do things that people request. He doesn't understand how twitter works and straight up put arbitrary goals aka "Share X times or else it's paywalled"
Despite his actual retweet/like ratios for many posts being very impressive for an animator of that size.
I feel bad for Toast fans because dude's eventually going to quit due to a meltdown when people will start consistently leaking his content (which is inevitable with every animator).

When someone tries to help he sees it as a threat wtf, it's basically a free ad to help him grow. Toast needs therapy, but he'll probably criticise the doctor on twitter

From my observations, he's like that all the time. This isn't first time. Mind you, at first he was directly @ ing the big audio twitter accounts for daring to add audios to his base animations without permission. Yep. Wish I was joking.
Not to speak of the fact that he's been directly going and complaining about piracy on Twitter and Patreon. Literally inviting people to pirate his content more.
Don't get me wrong, I understand where it's coming from. It sucks. You have to work around piracy often times but you'll never defeat it as it takes only one person to accomplish anything.
But artist should never directly adress the piracy. Never.
Or straight up go after people who are twenty times more influential when his goal is to make money
Thank you and aye, I've been around nsfw art for insane time, spent thousands of dollars on devs and artists and while doing so, picked up pretty much everything there is to learn about art, management, behind the scenes work. Something that Toast clearly needs to learn himself if he doesn't want to do his day job for rest of the life.

It was not so long time ago as he complained that the latter gets ignored by his "fans" and guess what...below that post with those WIPs, most of the comments are complementing Mercy model/scene/WIP. He's gonna lose it .
.There's so much you can milk with one or two scenarios. At some point, both viewer and animator get tired. More so one who's unwilling to learn, adapt and change in terms of how to do content. More so when the animator himself is in it purely for money. You also have takes like these which make you think that he doesn't understand 3D porn.
It's debatable for sure but story, context adds so much to an individual scenario. If you give proper context, story or hell, even write yourself short story, you can make people understand the animation. If animation itself tells a story while being, well, perfectly jerkable, even better.
Part of the reason why 3D porn works so well is because characters are hotand they have stories behind them.
He often has meltdowns over why people don't sub to him but doesn't take in acount that he's stuck doing 2016-2018 style loops. Instead of looking forward and thinking how he can actually improve already existing formula.
