they've been saying that for years that their game is almost complete and then they keep apologizing saying that they need more time to develop the game, so people think they are being fooled by them and the game will probably never be released because devs are sus scammers.
I mean, if you are a serious developer at least provide a demo/update of what you have done so far even if the game is not complete yet

??? No they say the next update is almost done, and they need more time. But it's clear whenever they postpone it, they feature creep and make it take longer. Assuming it's not stall tactics for not getting audited by steam. They are planning on putting out 0.4 next, that's at least 6 more versions before a "completed" game.

?? it was maybe 6 months or more between the first mention of NTR and the last playable update. And they said they wanted to add it due to players (mainly Asian players love it) asking for it. Even now there are a lot of the non-English comments (that are not complaining about the lack of updates) that still ask for it. Only really the English community that has such a big hate boner for NTR. And even there, it's still people that like it from that side.
Assuming they aren't scamming, they are just feature-creeping at this point, and due to the lack of monthly community posts is what is hurting them the most.

Right, might have been more accurate to say that I stopped playing after the NTR post, and of course the Asian community is the most in favor of it..
I'm fine with it in the game.. As long as it's optional un-forced content.. Like you actually have to try to get it to happen, and not just there for no real reason..

Suddenly NTR (planned) out of nowhere
If devs wanted to make NTR game, then they should promote it as one from the beginning. Betraying your original audience just because your biggest backers wanted something different is a poor practice as a video game devs. Because at this point, you're making games about something the people asked, not something you originally wanted to make. Unfortunately this is very common with patreon based games.
Also this game was SOLD on steam. They can't even use the "it's a free game, no bitching" excuse. People are buying this game expecting something that's definitely not cuckery.
There's also the fact that this game is a semi-abandoned mess. The outrage is very much understandable. Even with "toggleable switch" like you said, it just means that you're missing out on content, and that time that could've used to develop improvement or additional scenes was wasted on content that you'll never play.

No the original game idea was a dating game in a bnb with sex and some lose story. That was it, around the first update they said they listened to its user and wanted to add ntr/swinging but would not be in the first adult patch (0.3)
No harem, the only "harem" here would be that there most likely would have no repercussions from the girls by fucking more than one. I would not call that a harem, just vanilla.
And it was not the "biggest" paterons steering this, it was the steam comments. They had a patreon but abandoned it early and focused on steam and only showed the R18 stuff on pateron. But even there, would not be surprised there were ntr wanters. So keep crying, but their core audience wanted ntr and hence the post about adding it in the future. Also this game only got "popular" after they made post about ntr, it had low numbers on here and outside before 0.3 and they talked about ntr in 0.1 or 0.2. The youtuber boost did not come until 0.3 update. So saying that most people came for harem barely did any reading and only saw pretty girls and assumed it was a generic harem game. Which it never was, even without ntr.
The best they can do is add a toggle, and anyone that does not want to compromise with that need to seek help. The base game does not need nor will have ntr. (based on their old posts) But a dlc that adds it is not a problem, since you can just disable/remove the file for it and it's gone.

A toggle is fine with me, tbh. If they want to waste time adding NTR, that's their decision. If Its not the MAIN thing, then its whatever, honestly. But if that becomes the main focus, there are plenty of other games I can dl and play.

from the sound of the post they made ages ago, it sounded like a dlc that you can get (i.e just not get it/remove it to not have ntr) so even if no toggle in game, should be easy to remove. And no, they are not shifting focus, it was just something the asian community wanted at some point. So it will most likely have maybe 20-40% the content that the MC gets if they ever get to that point. So if it's content people are okay with, that is just a bonus on top of the bnb dating they already were planning to make. But if you refuse to play it, it should in theory be easy to ignore.

I don't know the why on that, but I do still see every month or two on different abandoned threads someone new saying they "just came across" the game and that they're enjoying it. So there are folks who still play them, even if abandoned. I don't think they need to remove anything, personally. It doesn't do anyone any harm to have them still on the site. And if you're done with an abandoned game thread, you can always unwatch it so you no longer get notifications on it.
