That's an incredible story, Especially about your brother. You see, back in the day, my first tour of duty was in South Korea, stationed at Camp Hovey, roughly 25 miles off the DMZ (which we had to March to to begin our 3 month police patrols). I Also was a Combat Medic and was So glad that nothing junped off, although we had a couple of close callls. I did do temporary duty in Honduras where the Contra rebels were active in Nicaragua. I also did my thing a few months later in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Seems our paths were similar. Because dependent loved ones seldom hear this, I say to you and yours: Thank You for Your service of support and stability for the military members of the family. Without strong military families, doing deployments would be difficult, particularly when the assignments are hazardous.
