I'm aiming for the Alpha, which is the first half of the update to come out by early next week. Once that's out I'll take a short break then start work on the second half. This Alpha is the biggest update I've ever done and I plan on the full update to be my biggest update ever. This means it'll take a little time. Probably 2 1/3 to 3 weeks starting next week. Once it's finished it goes to subs first and then roughly a week later it goes to everyone for free. That'll be about a month until it goes free.

It shouldn't take 4 hours to render on a 3060. At the very most 20 minutes. Also it sounds like your rendering off the CPU and not the 3060. That's probably why it took so long. Go into the "Render Settings" and click on "Hardware." Make sure you're only rendering off the GPU and not the CPU.

A ten hour workday today. That ain't too bad. I've got about 84 more renders left to do. It won't be quite 400 renders for the Alpha but about 362. Plus or minus one or two. That's still pretty big for an Alpha. There's usually between 300 and 400 for an average full update by me. So, like I said this update is pretty big. I really can't wait for y'all to play it. I am so proud of this update. It is my best work to date. Now I should say that the full 0.9 update is still a few weeks away. The Alpha is just the first half and will only be going to $10 subs and higher. It took about 3 weeks from start to finish of this Alpha so expect the same time for the full update from the time I release it. Though I am planning for the second half to be a bit longer than the first half. That doesn't mean it's gonna happen but that's the plan. If I can put in a 12 hour day tomorrow I think I can finish up the renders and get to the animations on Sunday and get it out on Easter. Don't hold me to it but that's what I'm aiming for and I think it's doable. The vast majority of the coding is done which is usually the last thing I do. I got to it early this time. That'll save a few hours. Anyway, stay tuned... lapt861.png

I started working about 10am. Let's see if I can finish up these renders today. Also my coder is away for Easter and won't be back until Monday. I know. I'm thinking the same thing you are. How dare he take time off to spend with his family on a major holiday. He's so fucking selfish. I may have to fire him. LOL! Anyway it'll be Monday at the soonest that the Alpha is released. This will give me an extra day to double check everything though. So that's good. Anyway, stay tuned... lapt863.png

Happy Easter y'all! I was up until about 12:30AM last night finishing up the renders. Which I did do. They're finished! At current count there's 359 renders for the Alpha. Because today is Easter I'm only gonna work a just little today. Shaddy ain't even gonna be able to help me until tomorrow anyway, so there's no hurry. Anyway, stay tuned... 1.png
