I can't get this to run. When I open it, it is an endless loading screen with an hourglass spinning in the bottom corner. I tried the locale emulator and it didn't work either.

There is no need for a cheat engine.. Just open inventory, click on your Phone icon that says "cheat" and inside there is a cheat menu where you can modify everything you need.

I know about the tricks menu on the cell phone, I said it in my post, but there are values that still cannot be modified in it. such as stress levels, inwitter fans, falling will, among others. That's why I wanted to know if the cheat engine works or at some point they will continue to add functions to the cheat menu of the existing ones.
In that case, I think you should wait for next updates or full release of the game.. not everything is implemented as of now and there are loopholes and inconsistencies as the developer agreed. Wait till they're all fixed and I think modifying these values would be easier down the line.

I've had quite a bit going on in the 10 days or so since my last release.
During that time, I was able to take a well-deserved break and also flesh out my plans for the future quite a bit.
I'd like to tell you more now, but first I'd like to hurry up with an urgent supplemental update.
The first supplemental update related to the visit extension will be released before this Sunday.
Then, in the next few days, I'll post a summary and translation of the upcoming plans.
I should have announced it sooner, but after a few days of looking at the ocean, I was too relaxed.

Anyone got the fix for the achievement save file? Also, does any of the mods linked in the OP interfere with the global save thingy?

it's faster if you get lost in the slums on purpose.
if you go to city --> streets, you can choose to get lost in the slums as an 'event'. with a bit of luck, you'll discover the location of the adult store there
