yeah I want to finish it but now im kind of thinking of not even playing the final chapter when it comes out cause I rather wait till it's all done and just get it on Steam or something , since I do want to give it a replay. If I didn't care about replaying it id just play it right away
I would definitely say the 1-10 is better. You could then switch to the 1-24. It has a chapter selector. So if you start at 11, you answer half a dozen questions about your choices and go from there.

I'll get to it in a bit, I've got a few others in the folder so when I finish with one, it's whatever takes my fancy the most (although I have a couple of updates arriving imminently as well). I've downloaded the Ch1-10 and marked it as "play this one first" so I don't forget when the time comes
I see a few regulars play Where the Heart Is. It's on my list, and came up in another post I saw, which means I took the opportunity to download it and add it to my "waiting to play" folder. Question though: it's one of those with two sets of downloads and no explanation, what's the situation here? View attachment 5259514
I went with the Ep1-24 download because it's about 3 times bigger, so I take that to assume the S1 download doesn't include all the same content, but the changelog possibly suggests S1 is a remake, is that the case?
Also, why can't the devs/uploaders make it clear in the OP when there are two sets of links...?

I concur. The remake is much better, early original WTHI is… rough. The remake stuff ends late enough in the timeline, you will have basically completed all the early story and can jump straight to the decent to good mid-game of the original.
My case: I dropped the pure original WTHI, but the remake+original combo is in my Top-20.
This is one of those sandbox games that just about does enough to maintain my interest through the progression of all the individual quests. I’ve played a couple like this before and I think the difference is whether or not you get the repeatable events with RNG progression – here, instead of doing the same thing potentially several times before you can move on, the repeatable events are just on request (e.g., summoning a girl for sex once the option is unlocked). I played with a mod for convenience, but the in-game quest tracking on the phone is actually pretty good for seeing whatever you need to progress, with the downside being that the various bits of info you need might be in two or three different apps, rather than all on one screen in the mod.
The graphics are pretty standard, and I think there’s a good use of different rendering options, with some scenes fully rendered, while others are cutouts on a static background. There’s no difference in quality between the two, and so I think it’s a good option in terms of development times and other headaches in rendering.
I like that there is some pretty good variety in the girls, with both bigger and smaller frames (and specifically busts) available in both younger and older/MILF characters, and there are also a couple of non-white characters as well. For my personal tastes, the larger breasts are far too large – there are a couple of characters who are about as big as I would usually go for, and then a few characters practically twice as big as those!
The story is the make or break then, and I think it just about toes the line at the moment. As the name of the game perhaps suggests, there’s a big focus on mind control, and it does mean that a lot of the sex scenes are quite easy to come by, but at the same time, you do have to put in the work to corrupt each character before you can get anywhere – though of course, some are much easier and quicker than others.
One bit that I wasn’t a fan of was the best friend. There’s a plot point where it becomes apparent that your friend might become a liability as he knows about your mind control power. You have the option to wipe his mind or to basically make him realise he wants to be a woman. I felt that the entity (for want of a better word) in your head pushes you towards the transition option, suggesting that a mind wipe won’t be enough, or won’t be permanent enough. Once your friend transitions though you automatically end up having sex, whether you want to or not. It’s quite laughable actually, as the friend goes into a doctor’s office male, and comes out female and then goes off to have full sex, with no real wait, operation, or recovery time at any point. It’s all a bit weird, but it’s like a completely different character has been swapped in, rather than an existing one changed, and the “new” female friend is at least one of the more attractive models. It just feels a bit of a weird, and wrong way to go about the situation.
As usual with a quest-based sandbox game, you do have periods of waiting for events to happen now and then, but I found that there was always something else to do during that time. Once you complete all the current quest content though, it might mean that there is more waiting around, depending on how many quests are progressed, or new quests introduced, by the dev with each new update.

One of my favourite sandboxes. It's also one of the very rare cases where I tolerate a bad guy MC, because a) he begins as an okay guy and only becomes a villain as the game progresses, b) his descent into evil is demonstrated very well, especially in Eleanor's (wherein he breaks her and has to become even more evil to fix her) and Sarah's (where he wonders if they could make a good couple naturally only for Ava to double down on corrupting him) quests. A guy slowly corrupted by power is much more interesting than someone who's a sociopath or a criminal from the get-go.
As for the girls… Sarah's the best, and I like how she's a twisted version of a wholesome relationship. Ultimately though, I don't take the girls here too seriously, as there's no happily ever after with them in this game - the MC must pay for what he's done.
In my quest for the perfect game, I’ve played a bunch that sound right up my alley. Some have been hits, but most have been misses, and I wanted to share my recommendations of the ones I’ve enjoyed. If you have similar tastes to mine, you’ll hopefully therefore find something good here.
It’s not just the games, but the girls as well. I create character cards for the games I’ve enjoyed, where I rank the girls based on my own “gut feeling” tier system. This started out as a simple visual guide for myself, as I would often forget a minor character, but it’s grown quite a bit from there.
So here, as well as listing and reviewing the games, I’ll show off the girls you can interact with, too (for the most part, these will all be love interests (LIs), either “main girls” or “side girls”). If you’re like me and the visual element plays a big part in making your decision on what game to try next, this can be another helpful indicator for you!
The Games:
The two key technical things I go for in my games are Ren’Py and 3DCG – for the other stuff, I’m pretty much open to checking most things out, but I don’t personally enjoy gay, futa, bestiality, or loli content, and I mostly tend to skip female protagonist games unless the content is mostly lesbian, as I’m into women myself and generally want the dick in the game to be “mine”.
I want a game to hit me in the feels now and then. I don’t want a game that I just play to get off, I need a connection to the story and/or the characters first. So slow burn is absolutely fine if the story works for it, and sandbox and minigames are both things I’m comfortable with so long as I don’t feel they grind too much.
My current top ten game recommendations (in alphabetical order):
Bare Witness (My review) – Fantastic scenes, visuals, and replayability through the variety of paths.
Being a DIK (My review) – Has some great characters and moments, but manages to still feel tender despite the size, and reputation.
Chasing Sunsets (My review) – A story that really hit my feelings at various points, visually fantastic too.
Her Desire (My Review) – Almost a collection of scenes rather than a full story, but very hot.
Intertwined (My review) – A great-looking game with lots of simple twists. One for the multiple-path afficionados.
Law School (My review) – A slightly different setting/theme, and some great visuals and girls.
My Dorm (My review) – A wholesome-feeling harem game with great diversity in characters.
My Husband's Boss (My review) – Sexy, brutal, sometimes dark, this one has excellent written and visual storytelling.
Race of Life (My review) – Love the premise (after the heartache) and looks visually fab.
Heaven's Door (My review) – A slow start, but visually very appealing and by devs I have full faith in.
Memories (My review) – A good-looking sharing game with some really nice LIs/potential LIs.
Time Heals (My review) – Fantastic looking slow burner with an intriguing story.
Whispers of Desire (My review) – A husband and wife game with a lot of player choice to shape the path you take.
Yesterday's Crossroads (My review) – Great-looking game with a fab selection of LIs. Feels almost like Intertwined-Lite in places.
I’ve also got a list of over 250 games to try, so as I go through those, I’ll leave some notes (and images) here if I find any recommendations to share. I do welcome recommendations that you think would fit in with my tastes as well though!
I have a type, most definitely, so I’m often amazed at which LI ends up being my favourite, as a couple of my real standouts in the games I’ve played would not be my usual visual pick at all. Here is a selection of my top-ranked LIs though, to give an idea of the visuals I like in a game, and the looks I like in a woman: View attachment 3975829
The tier system I use is based purely on my own opinion of the looks of the characters – so personality, or being my favourite LI to chase doesn’t come into it. All LIs are generally going to be hot to at least some degree, even if they are not necessarily to my own taste. It’s just the way these games go – after all, the devs want you to lust after the girls in their games.
My tiers, then, go something along the lines of:
“Stunning” (there's just something about her that sets her apart)
“Absolutely Beautiful” (close to perfect, but not quite going that extra step)
“Gorgeous” (really special, better than hot, but a bit below perfection)
“Hot” (better than the average hot, but not jaw-dropping)
“Hot… but” (there’s just something that doesn’t quite work for me)
“Okay” to “Not for Me”
In this thread, I'll continue to post reviews and character cards from the games I've played and enjoyed, and also from new games as I try them out...
WOW Amazing! Thanks for the effort here. i am sure it took allot of time. In your opinion, What game your recommend for me to start with. I love games like mid night paradise. But the characters need to be good looking like that game. Suggestion plase!

It depends on what you mean by "like Midnight Paradise" - the theme, the sandbox, some specific content, etc.? Shattered Minds has some similarities in some of the themes and the way the sandbox works (and although I don't generally use mods anymore I used the Shawn mod for both and it hightened the similarities).

Something like No More Money for the family and work comparisons to Midnight Paradise perhaps? Other than that, I've not really got recommendations as such because everyone is different. Just take a look at the games in my list or on a search and see what takes your fancy.
I don't know if that's a recommendation for me, or for the person asking a couple of posts earlier, but if it's for me, Finding Cloud 9 is on my list to try. I've just downloaded it (it's in the play queue) because I tend to do that what I get a link to a game that's on my list, so I'll try it out before too long.
More for the person asking a couple of posts earlier but since it wasn´t on your list...
It has some assignments/quests/sandbox-ish things like Shattered Minds.

Yeah, I went through the previews and it was looking good and thn the last one was a full-on sandbox map! Either way, it was already on my list, so I downloaded it.
