If you take a look at Wild Life for example, it's much less of a game than Too Much Light but it has a ton of folks supporting it on patreon. While I think it's a good idea to also take gameplay into account - the shooting works much better now than in the past, for example - the main reason people are interested in porn games is because of the porn, everything else is just a bonus. From an economic point of view it really doesn't make sense to compete with other open world RPG survival craft type games, it's much better to see other h-games as the relevant competition because let's be honest, people are willing to tolerate mediocre to bad gameplay if the sexy stuff is good.

That doesn't mean that the game needs to be bad, but h-game devs too often want to have it all at once and fail because their projects are too ambitious. Another good example would be the games from Kyrieru (hope the guy is ok and not dead): Relatively simple platformer games with good sprite sex. The gameplay is by no means bad for an indie game but the scope is straight forward. Meanwhile a lot of other devs want to have porn, an open world, RPG elements and good action gameplay when they most often neither have the experience and/or manpower to see any of these aspects through. If Too Much Light had no gameplay but a sandbox area where you could spawn NPCs and view sex scenes it would probably a lot more popular.

The issue is more the dev just disappearing for months and not having regular updates. Think there was a lot more interest when the dev was actually active. They can barely put out updates and you want them to focus more on H content than gameplay? I'm in the gameplay > H content group. Tired of all these 3D "games" that just turn into animation viewers, and all these devs that try to milk their Patreons as much as possible and string them along with promises of actual gameplay someday.

Also if you can please not make the nights too dark cuz i not see a shit,maybe add a screen brightness option for nights and a way to deactivate cum inflation in the options if you don't want to have it, it would be nice if your vagina and anus were filled with semen without inflation being seen by having it deactivated and that at the same time Press P or the appropriate button to expel the semen.

When the vagina and anus fill up a lot with internal semen due to the enemies cumming inside, you could make semen drip from the vagina and anus or a cumulus of semen can be seen inside the vagina and anus.

I could be mistaken but to my understanding the last available maximum version always has the most content. The new updates add mechanical stuff (gameplay additions etc) and new enemies but all the animations are paywalled behind the better maximum version

Obviously 0.5e Maximum will have the most content but supporting the dev at the moment isn't all that smart as it seems he isn't even able to get the money we are paying it is just being held by Patreon for now and even on Boosty it seems he had same issue. I guess he is based in Russia?

Supporting the creator in any situation is always a smart idea, because everything can end both badly and well. And by supporting in difficult times, you increase the chance that everything will be fine, rather than when you completely abandon your creator. And I'm not talking about myself, but about the situation as a whole.
