Hi guys!
I haven’t worked on the project a lot over the past week because I’ve been preparing for an upcoming move and studying. I have a strong desire to dive deeper into the 3D engine, experiment more, and develop new skills, especially improving my animation and my ability to create the kind of game world I really want.
I’ve been experimenting with tentacle rigging and more natural animation, and I’ve developed a kind of pipeline that makes animating tentacles, vines, roots, and similar things interesting rather than painful, while keeping the movement smooth and organic as much as the engine and my current skills allow.
In the near future, I’d really like to create more tentacle-related content: new tentacle monsters, biomes, walls of flesh, and so on. What do you think about this idea? Let me know in the comments or Discord whether you’d like to see more tentacles and similar elements in the game.
I’ve also finished the spirit horse for the Christmas event and I’m currently working on some juicy animations for it. I hope you like it. I’ve uploaded a small previews.
