I don't remember this 100%, but aside for the Hanny merchant, there was a Hanny cone that wanted a picture of Shuri. I think there was another one with a similar quest. I don't think they were missable, they blocked paths on the map.
That explains a lot then. Because i didn't join the Hanny religion i never went back to talk to them until post game where i was hunting for all the swords. It was then that i learned i could still get the Good Hanny Card but because i got it Post Tournament and thus i couldn't get the those two's stamps since they were now gone
Sorry to say, but I think that only happens to you. I recall 0 issues when I played it (though truth be tolled it's been years...).This game seems very broken.
Not only it seemingly freezes when hitting a "lump" (un-fullscreen gets the game to recognise the hit, sometimes. Sometimes I have to repeat but not without fullscreen-ing again first. But anyway it always takes 30 to 60 seconds at best) but also trying to save in a slot that aready was saved on (like slot 8) it then instead saves in the slot I used to save the very first time (slot 3). WTF?
And I do not find any save files anywhere so I could delete no longer used save/slots.
And it may be ultimately broken as in it does not recognise me having picked up the Dungeon Key. Two accessible doors still say I need a Dungeon Key, and that is that - no progression possible.
It also never was visible in inventory.

Glad I could help, TT2 was my first entry into the other Alicesoft titles and fondly enjoyed it! Toushin Toshi III is even slated to be translated this year probably! Also, an important tip in the game to save you some confusion, in order to get the true ending, you'll need to not commit any sins. This means you CANNOT EVER sell gal monsters, rape, or "eat" (You'll understand what this means later). Doing any of these will strictly and irreversibly put you on the default ending path.First, thanks for the sympathies.
issues: Yes and no, the issue with hitting a lump has been reported before. But else ... I tried a lot today, including setting my system time to 1998 (year). I once actually had a software with year-2000-bug ...
Most annoyingly earlier today I got it to run properly ONCE, and then never again, would no longer run at all under those settings.

Thank you, and thanks those modders/ coders - they never cease to amaze me. I just tried, and hui, what responsiveness - first have to slow things down.
This is so nice, I had already started to like the game, and now I can hopefully be busy for days or weeks with it.
