I like author’s writing style, but I’m not keen of TA, or at least what TA has become in the last 10/11 chapters, i.e. a pure fanservice work, done to allow the author to raise money. Nothing wrong about that but the quality has got worse.

I think some chapters were very erotic, 4/5 if I remember well, story background was interesting, but now has become a cheap spy story with a lot of moaning.

I think TC was a one shot story and sequels haven’t any sense too.

DL was good instead, and the open ending is coherent with the story unfolding.

I’m liking a lot NE and I hope he won’t ruin it, he is going very well now. The unfolding has the right pace and what’s happening is worth of suspension of disbelief up to now.

Nevertheless I think that the literotica author J267 is still the master of suspension of disbelief stories, and up to now I haven’t found anyone close to him, not even Donsilver.

One interesting detail in ch24 was the reveal that Sarah hasn't told Dan about Otis. It was done subtly, but early on in the chapter, Lester starts talking about their hospital encounter,but Sarah quickly changed the subject before he mentioned Otis, something that Lester picked up quickly. He realised that she didn't tell Dan about Otis. It's something that'll definitely come up in the future chapters.

Remember Don did mention in a chapter 16 during the D&D session Dan felt embarrassed being around a bunch of nerds. He thought would his high school buddies think of him. So Dan does have friends or use too why doesn’t he reach out to them or least his parents. We understand Lester as the line wolf but even he has companion lap dog in Ned. Seriously Dan has no one besides Sarah. Again very odd.

To be somewhat positive I do like this ongoing detail in the story

Hopefully this is built on. Lester needs to find about this and exploit it. Ideally through a conversation with Sarah where he's asking her what she loves about him. Don should use this to get Sarah to praise him and show gratitude. It'll deepen their relationship. In the next few chapters I want to see Sarah choose to stay with Lester for the night while Dan is there. Their relationship shouldn't just be based on sex

No one like Dan would ever want that getting out, its why I have an issue with his government job, I know, even from just working for a contractor, that they do full FBI background checks and anyone with Dan's predilictions would be open for blackmail and therefore not hireable. It would be a great way for Lester to attack Dan. I wonder how turned on Sarah would be at helping Lester with that. I know a normal wife and mother would never do that, but part of that psychological change-up he is doing to Sarah has her turning on at hurting Dan. She actually said that if Jesse came in her that it would break Dan. Then after being attacked by Lester for hiding her taking birth control, like he had been betrayed, she started turning on to being a part of Jesse's revenge on Dan. Her brain is fucked already and helping Lester doesn't seem like such a stretch anymore, now that this is out in the story.

Yes..It would be interesting to see how Sarah team up with Lester in the coming chapters; keeping secrets from Dan, choosing Lester over Dan and not just in the bedroom.

I feel like Don has realized the audience doesn't demand much so he just spends the last week before 20th of each month writing the same chapter. The only thing that changes is the random character who gets to fuck Sarah and he makes an update on the Lincoln group and hospital drama. Until his patrons demand real progression, there's no incentive to do anything different

It proves what I implied earlier does Dan not have any real friends or personal connections? Why is that? Everyone wants to say it’s all Lester’s fault. Maybe the reason is Dan is not as good of a person we have been lead to believe. What is apparent Dan is arrogant person who is only concerned about his needs and fantasy. Why has Dan never upgraded Sarah’s wedding/engagement ring even as an anniversary gift. Why didn’t he appeared concerned about his family welfare when deciding to move to Chicago rather than keep his family together in Middleton? You make those kind of decisions when those people are not as important as you which makes me really question him as a husband and parent. It’s obvious Dan doesn’t give Sarah attention. Why else would she agree to his fantasy even though she had serious reservations. Because it would please Dan. Lester picked up and took advantage of this flaw in their marriage. Now you see Sarah thrilled when men, even ugly or desperate ones give her their undivided attention. Truthfully maybe Dan was the toxic one in the marriage and this whole thing was on life support before Lester.

On the other side I would find it laughable if anyone was in Dan’s situation (locked up in jail) saying they wouldn’t swallow their pride and ask their friends for help? Real friends and close family don’t abandon a person just because they do something so stupid and asinine. They’d pick up the call and be there no questions asked. If Dan had real friends they would give him grief and call him a dumbass or his parents might express concern and embarrassment, but its not they given up on you.

Dan's friends may all be in Middleton, not Chicago. I'm not sure what the distance is, but it must be enough to make it a long drive between the two as described in some chapters. It may be hard for Dan to get help in Chicago. Meanwhile, how many "rounds" will Sarah go through? And is Lester really that capable of re-energizing that many times? I still think he is going to let Jessie and Ned take a couple of rounds, and I do still believe Sarah has an IUD and that will be coming out at the end of the "rounds." I went back and reread some of the first chapters and see that Ned has a board game store, so he isn't a gynecologist. He does seem to be quite the handyman, however. IUD's can be taken out without a medical professional's help. Once it is out, I don't think Lester will take any risks of anyone else getting Sarah pregnant but him, so this is the only time for her to be shared.

The author DS has turned Lester into a ‘Swiss Army Knife’. This is a knife (if you don't know it, just google it!)
that can do everything and is ahead of all others.
What an achievement!

I get the friend thing, Chillie, but I have also known my share of my fellow males who are 99 and 2/3% ego. That and an abusive father are the reasons most of my friends through life have been female. Dan may have friends who would do anything for him and not judge him, but that ego does get in the way. Also, if Dan was scared of Lester moving in on his territory, why not ask a friend to keep an eye on Sarah and see? Or a beat down between him, his friends, and Lester? I guess, having been that neither Dan or Sarah talk to anyone but family that they are like my in-laws and don't talk to anyone, or don't knock on their neighbor's door. Could also be that Dan and Sarah are the only ones of Dan's clique that got married and I can speak from experience on both sides of this coin, when one person of a group of males gets married and the others are not, their friendships seem to falter from the friends not wanting to deal with wives and kids and everything they don't have yet or from the wedded one distancing himself from his single friends as their lifestyle no longer matches his own and either he or his wife (not wanting the bad single guy atmosphere) to corrupt him back to hanging out with them and not her. For those never married before the honeymoon phase is confusing and straining as the lives of the couple are now forevermore changed and they are just learning how. Hope that makes sense...didn't mean to dither.

I don't see Dan as having a major outsized ego. That said, the other possibilities for lack of friends that you note are spot on

I am not familiar with the legal situation in the individual states of the United States of America, especially not in Chicago.
As far as I could tell from the last chapter, Dan did not harm, injure or assault anyone, did not vandalise anything in the hotel or cause damage to property, did not carry any weapons or life-threatening objects or drugs.
His only offence was that he drank more than he could handle. He was a bit loud and knocked loudly on a room door several times.
Are these REASONS enough to be arrested and locked up in a cell?
If so, then half of the citizens of the United States should be in prison!

Under normal circumstances and in a constitutional state (because the USA is and should be a constitutional state!) they should have released Dan after his interrogation and a warning (small misdemeanour payment of perhaps 50 - 100 $).

But no, Don makes a giant elephant out of a molehill, stomping around in a glass house.
... And that goes beyond the limits of my imagination and all rational logic.
