I could totally see this happening. It reminds me of the phone call between Dan and Sarah after she finds out that he let one if Lesters's friend to peep. Back when Don dropped lot of subtle info about Sarah's Ego. You could tell that Sarah is someone who wants to have Last word in any interaction. Even when her husband is sharing his darkest secret, even when she is truly moved by his honesty, she still had to place the blame on him as she couldn't bring herself to be vulnerable and didn't wanna appear as easy.

I thought that piece of writing was pretty accurate as I've met people like that in real life. If you made a mistake, 1000 apologies will not be enough for them and if it's their mistake , somehow you are still the ungrateful one as you didn't consider their perspective. *sigh* I wish Don gets back his mojo.

What I am looking forward to is Sarah saying to Dan, "did Lester get you drunk? Huh, Dan? Was Lester over there forcing drink after drink down your throat? As I recall, he couldn't do that because he was with me and NEVER at YOUR table. So, maybe you should take some personal responsibility toward getting arrested. I used to think that was one of your strengths, but not so much anymore." Then she walks over and gets into Lester's car, leaving Dan standing on the sidewalk in front of Cook County Jail, alone -- but surrounded by a non-caring mass of humanity. My prediction.

I have a question about the least significant character in this story: Ned. How come he didn't recognize Dan in hotel as Lester's roommate ?! What did Lester told him about Dan and Sarah?! Does he still think Sarah is Lester's gf? Even if Lester bullied him to do his bidding without revealing much, with some basic SM stalking he could've figured out Dan and Sarah are the couple. Just curious.

Replace him with some random hotel employee under Lester's payroll and the story remains the same. Unless Don is planning something major for him in ch 25.

Thought that was odd as well since they spent time making small talk and playing D&D together. Sounds like Ned may not be the brightest or most observant lackey which makes him the perfect for Lester. Ned may be your prototypical YES man or Lester traumatized him so badly Ned will agree to anything to avoid punishment or having his info leaked onto the dark web. Or maybe Maybe was in was confident like Dan long ago and then Lester appeared. We may never know

I like thst scenario. It will be interesting to see if Sarah has the time or finances to bail out her husband. Especially if Lester’s plan is to keep her busy all weekend in the hotel

So been reading some simp comments in Don’s chat. They are now beginning to push for Otis the janitor to become a major sex player for Sarah since he got a taste. They want Otis to have secret trysts with Sarah inside the hospital without Lester involved and if Lester intervenes beat him up so Otis become Sarah’s new sex daddy.

Why are these so bound and determined to ruin a good story? I can’t see Otis the janitor smart enough to undermine Lester. Sure Otis may have street smarts but Lester usually has one or two steps on his companions. Some question Lester giving Otis a taste of Sarah while others think Lester has recognized Otis in past encounters and may have blackmail info on him.

It makes sense, right now Sarah's best defense is offense.
Also, she can blackmail Dan with a divorce, since she already has another man to whom she said YES! and wears his wedding ring.
For now, I think DS will take a step back and soften the situation to drag out the story.....capitalism.

Yeah, but the finances shouldn't be a big problem...you only have to come up with 10%of bail with a bail bondsman and they do have a house that can mortgaged twice, just in case, but most likely no more than $50 to a couple hundred out of pocket.

The whole point of what he is doing is working to change Sarah psychology and the only way to really do that is repetition again and again and again to build up behavioral patterns. Think about it, Sarah now allows Lester to make out with her in front of Dan as a greeting. Lester started Sarah doing that at her house and kept repeating it until now it is natural for her to do, even in front of her husband and kissing is a lot more intimate that sex to some people. The story is not about Sarah as a whore to sleep around with everyone under the sun, as she begins to suffer nymphomania. Its about this attraction the two of them have and have really had since the day she saw his dick for the first time. Its about Lester, a grand psychological manipulator taking Sarah over and making her his, corrupting her and changing her to a point that she will give up her life, completely to fuck Lester.
