I kind of see her wearing the ring Lester gave her starting the next day at work. He asks why she decided to wear it and she tells him he knows why. Maybe he asks where her wedding rings are and in the end she throws them away, symbolic of who she has picked to side with; tells Lester she will tell Dan she lost them down the drain at work and they weren't recovered. She tells him she has a question. He asks what and she asks if Lester could use some help. "You already are helping me, right here," he answers, knowing what she means but drawing it out. Maybe she tells him she is so fucking wet and will get more wet if she can help him ruin Dan, completely, "it fucking turns me on to know you beat him so profoundly."
Hopefully by the final draft or following chapter we will jnow if Sarah is still wearing Lester’s engagement ring or not. Interesting Dan never mentioned or commented to Sarah about the ring when they went down to her car to talk. Not a detail Dan notices or he has too much on his mind. It would have been nice to see Lester and Sarah discuss the ring and proposal in Ch.25 since it’s an important symbol in their relationship (whether fake or not)
I guess we have to play the long game but playing devil’s advocate. Sarah loves teases both Lester and Dan, but Im assuming based on her text which she gets excited when either Dan gets serious or Lester takes control. She probably use to initiating sex with Dan as she wears the pants in their family. With Lester Sarah doesn’t have to be the aggressor anymore and gets to experience sex from a different perspective. Lester also fulfills Sarah’s desire to be controlled, desired and chased by an alpha.
Also, I wouldn't call any sex she had with Lester playing hard to get since they had sex in front of Otis in the SUV. She agreed ti fuck Lester, in that chapter, so fast it made my head spin.
