I doubt we will meet many survivors like in the zombie game. This looks and plays more like a Silent Hill type of deal.
Yeah, when we compare it to his other similar game(particular N&T), there will be max another few girls. That's the charm of post apocalyptic games, a small cast, monsters looks all alike, but game can be developed more quickly. And a small cast don't waste time to try to connect a large cast. Internal relationships of a small cast can be provided more accurately. And with some porn logic, there isn't too much drama between girls. :cool:

We haven't met much of anyone, much less people with guns. We haven't even run into non-monster individuals or groups like our trio moving from one place to another or scavenging for provisions. Those that haven't turned into monsters already, are sequestered where they feel themselves safe. They may have guns, but since they are hiding, we can't see them.

Eventually, we will run into weaponry, whether just discovered by us or in the hands of others.

I was just wondering if there might be paramilitary groups in the future, equipped with hazmat suits to cope with the fog. :unsure:
i just mean unless the people who used the gun arent the same, & they died after that single shot
the game is still new with only 5 chapters so far, we went from 2 to 3 pretty quick, & have already met another person
with how slow the car was driving, someone may have heard it, & will end up finding it on the road, to then find us nearby at the dorms

My thoughts are that the fog is what is turning people. We saw that with the person in the business building. So the more time outside in the fog, the more likelihood people change. Moving should be an option of last resort in my opinion at this point. I get where Laura is (let's get to the hospital to get home) but they are ignoring all the major facts in front of them. I guess we shall see how it goes.

TOXICity 0.06.0 update 3 and release schedule

Yesterday

Outside of a little last-minute polish, this build is good to go, and we'll be uploading it shortly. And I know some of you (hopefully ALL of you) have been impatiently waiting for the next chapter. Fear not, you'll be rewarded as you'll finally get to meet girl #3. Also, there's at least one moment that's been a long time coming.
As I say this, I do offer a bit of warning/sage advice on how you may feel about the story as it progresses. Events occur, sometimes with little lead-up, or just enough that you'll have some context, but will start to make more sense further down the line. These scenes are a window into each person's timeline, and how they react may be fostered as much by your own actions as those that occurred before the game's Prologue.
One of the themes of TOXICity is that nothing happens in a vacuum, and there's usually fallout for what you do. So, getting involved with people in complicated relationships (or who have issues of their own) means navigating both their present and future states, while being aware of their pasts.

I know ToxiCity is still early in development, and it's too soon to say for sure, but it's already shaping up to be my favorite ILS game.

Art is also looking good, but I've noticed quite a few aliased edges, with hair in particular looking jagged. ILS should really consider using DSR or something similar to smooth things out, though it doesn’t bother me too much.

The worst jagged edges are in reflections, and that's gonna be something limited to an internal (and probably hard capped) render setting in HS2 that they probably don't have any control over. Not sure how much any DSR like post-processing can fix an in scene mirror surface being limited to 512x512 or something similar.

I tested the saves and working, shouldn't have broken them. Are you using a mod of any kind when you did the previous saves? If you were, yeah, you have to do like for like (same mods each version) or they will break. But vanilla game v5 --> vanilla game v6 saves shouldn't break.
Probably I don't remember. I know I usually add a mod after my first playthrough of new updates. So more than likely. Either way I don't mind restarting I usually restart anyways each update just to make sure I see all the new changes in the early game.

Well, here's a save right at the Ch6 title card, if you or anyone else is so inclined. Vanilla, no mods, and managed to see all of the previous scenes. Points largely maximized via the official walkthrough. Had no problem reaching the two scenes in Ch6.

Ren'Py naming conventions being what they are, the save is on the top right row of page 12 (12-3-LT1.save). If you want, you could follow the format and rename it '1-1-LT1.save' to put it at the first slot on page one. It also has the matching 'persistent' file, which should unlock all of the gallery/replays. Just unpack the archive into the game's 'save' folder, which should be inside the 'game' folder of the install directory.

Thank you but for me I will just restart as I said thats usually what I do anyways lol Not sure why I tried to load a save in the first place. Probably just overly excited about meeting third girl XD
