Just wondering something is this game technically complete or is the dev someone who cant make his own game trigger the scene triggers?

well dev can state that game is completed and then add extra stories which don't affect main game. there is tcnd: sr out but dev is on vacation until end of may so no news until then.

The sad thing is: the game started and got many updates as a normal visual novel/VN for quite some time - until the dev had the funny idea to change it into a (bad made) sandbox...

Yes, even years later, there is still interest in the original game, which is a sign that the developer was going in the right direction. Then the game became too hard to play.

The very first "The Class Next Door," which was continued by the impossible to play EX. There are probably hundreds, maybe thousands of renders?, in EX that most players never saw because that game was impossible.

Why not reissue EX as a visual novel? It could probably be done in an afternoon or two.

Not according to site rules. But yes, that's of course right. There are at least several VNs that come to mind immediately that have some degree of sandbox, usually fairly minor in those I'm thinking of.

mods/uploaders don't follow that rule, for example bad memories has quite a big portion is sandbox and it's vn same with several other games.

How dare you! If anything, mods are incredibly consistent throughout this site! There are never any instances of rules being applied with different levels of exactness. I can't believe you'd claim such a thing!
