unless i've messed something up seems to be an issue with using walkthrough mode in english the game keeps changing the language part way through dialogue, switching to english without walkthough mode seems to work.

No, you're correct. I even backed up my saved folder with all my saves from version 0.4. Cleared everything off and started afresh. But the dialogue from the start is all messed up. You're asked at the beginning if you want to turn on the built in walkthrough but that's in Dutch, not English. It's a battle toggling between English and English with walkthrough options to enjoy the story. That's something the dev should pay particular attention to seeing most of us here are native English folks. I do not understand a word in Dutch, by the way.

It's sad that so much time after the walkrought is still broken by showing german in english :/
Also the "behind the ear vision is horrible"

Another Rework that make the game worse than before

I usually stay in the background and don't comment on VNs, so this is my first one on F95, and I hate that it's a critique. I’ve played previous updates and found them interesting enough to keep waiting for more. I read the changes you made to days 1 and 2, and I was expecting major improvements. Most of them are, especially with the story, so kudos to you, I appreciate that. However, after noticing a few things I didn’t like, I ended up dropping it.

A couple of nitpicks:

- When creating a loop animation that doesn’t return to its starting state (e.g., a hand goes up and back down), avoid using it during long conversations. The conversation with the Succubus at the beginning has one. She raises her hand to create a magic orb, and then it awkwardly resets to the start. The conversation is too long, and the repeated animation becomes distracting. Instead, make the hand raising and orb creating a one time action, and loop only the handling of the orb. It’s a small detail, but it contributes to my overall critique.

- major issue is with the over shoulder POV in hospital. MC head take 20% of the screen and it doesn't add anything in the conversation. Either you use first person POV or you use overhang camera. It was fine after the conversation when wife, sorry landlady, huggs him and say few things but overall it looks like bad camera handling in a shooter where character just obscure the view.
There is a reason for use of first person POV, it's immersion. Reader becomes the protagonist and sees everything with their eyes, that's why it's a good use in Isekai VN, because you jump into someone's body, as a reader and as a MC. Double inception.

Both issues starts with use of animations. Like you wanted to make better flow or add to overall experience and, for me, you made something opposite to that. I don't know. I spend more time thinking about it and writing this comment then playing this update. I try to read it again in few hours.

First of all, thanks for your feedback!

I'm aware that the animation loops aren’t perfect yet — I'm already working on a solution (see Known Issues).

As for the walkthrough, I’ll take a look at it this evening — it should have been included.


Regarding the perspective: I currently have a small poll running on my Discord.
Since there are already 2 votes against it here, I’ll make sure to note them down as well.


About the Mega link — it actually shouldn’t be asking for a key.
I’ll double-check that too after my shift.

(Also yeah the English W/WT is also in German for me)

Yes, I have someone who does the proofreading as a native english speaker. Therefore, Day 3 of the translation should be fine so far; Days 1 and 2 will receive some further corrections.

If something still doesn't fit or is 'borderline unreadable,' I am definitely open to feedback, as I am also working on improving my english.
Does the proof reader really can read english ?

Because when you have German in the "english walkrought" in less than 5 minutes in the game for me it's simply he / she did not even tried it ?

Other points covered by others, so will just say; when animating or showing static images of a scene, might wanna actually show the gritty bits. This isn't Playboy where it's teasing only.

Some of the phrases struck me as being to transliteral. Not taking into account that it'll make no sense when in english.

Just started a fresh game. I got thru day 2 I guess (have 4 karma points, go to sleep). Then I wake up but it is lost the images. It starts with "Image 'day2mol' not found" and then it continues... Is anyone else having this issue?

Enjoying the game up to now.

I absolutely do read English, certainly better than you write it. The walkthrough, as is usual if you bother to read further back on this thread, has usually not been proofread at all before first release, and that is true in this case as well. It is a separate script from the normal "without-walkthrough" one. At this point I have not even finished proofing the rework of Days 1&2 yet, much less gone back through and done the walkthrough. Day 3 and onward should be fine, since that is the script I previously had proofed.
Also -- just a little pet peeve of mine -- if you're going to question someone else's proficiency with a language, perhaps you should be sure of your own proficiency first.

Not much in new update :cry:
This time not sorry.
I had 6 Day-weeks with up to 10-hour workdays, so unfortunately there wasn’t much time for new content which is why I’ve been focusing on changes and improvements.
But that got an end and I'll hurry and redo the renders, since the new version wasn’t received as well as hoped —
and then we’ll move forward soon with proper new content.

Day3-5 are still aviable but with some bugs and missing renders because some renders are reused trough all days but with the changes not longer aviable.




For the walktrough Issue:
I coppied the normal english and made it for day 1 and 2 ready
BUT due to the proofreading process, there may still be some further adjustments.

I will upload the (unproofen) walktrough version tomorow.

And for more Informations:
Since the new perspective hasn’t been well received, I’ll be reworking it —
along with fixing the animation issues.
