He always puts a lot of care into the updates lol. He's been learning constantly, improving his skills with HS2, even doing this rework of older frames that he can do better now that he's learned more. One of the biggest reasons that readers can actually *see* the improved results now, though, is because you're no longer seeing "raw" alpha versions that haven't been proofread and bugtested yet. You're seeing the game as he intended you to see it, rather than a half-finished alpha.
Hmm, there are a few missing renders still. And when talking to Nana, she is continually using the work Landlord even though the patch is applied and working elsewhere. Also, a little later when talking to Mone she refers to Nana as companion.

Could you please send me screenshots of the places where the renders are missing and where this happens with “Landlord”?
This shouldn't happen normally, as “Landlord” is a variable that is changed by the patch.
Checked the "issue" myself, i got with patch the normal "dad" and "sister".
I cant confirm "a few" missing render.
Only 1 render but thats an issue because of a missleading call for the render.
Anyway screenshots would help.
Did you use an older save file?
A save file that was while the missing scenes?
Patch should work, cant reproduce the issue.

Same with Monė, calling Nana companion.
Not really a sense in screenshot every sentence in this scene where they call them that.

Even if you jsut screenshot the first error and post that, if they're all in the same scene that's good enough. It shows the dev where the problem is, so he can go back and look at the script and see what's causing it. Also, please make sure you have the latest version of the patch; he had to correct a few things with that an update or two back, so that could possibly be an issue as well.
First image that shows landlord instead of dad. She uses it then throughout the whole conversation.
Only time I could catch where she uses companion.

K, thanks for the info! I'll make sure he sees this when he comes back online. If he can reproduce the error he'll have it fixed ASAP. He's really good about that.

It’s also not necessary to screenshot every single scene; usually, the scenes where it starts are enough.
But a statement like “somewhere around there” doesn’t really help much – with about 10,000 lines of code (just the script and related stuff, without the extra translation scripts, etc.) that’s a bit too vague to work with effectively.
With the screenshots you’ve provided, I can now search more precisely, and after I’ve eaten (just got home), I’ll get right to finding and fixing the error.
Yup, I just got the message that my account was terminated and I’m no longer allowed to use Mega.
No exact reason given, but apparently someone reported my account just for fun, claiming a “violation of the terms of service.”
They didn’t even tell me which rule I supposedly broke.

False positives (like the majority of such detections in these games, especially in the OP links.) Try using something besides Windows Defender.

You are talking to a hacked account (most likely). Malicious guys are trying to spread panic and distract moderators in order to spread the virus. This is their tactic - to make accusations without providing any evidence or data, and then remain silent without answering questions. Obviously, the patches do not contain any virus (I specifically checked them with Defender, VirusTotal, my eyes, and everything is clean).
I advise you to ignore messages that do not contain information about what virus was found and in which file. Or give them the link I provided. If they are a good-faith user, they will follow the recommendations in that message and provide information.
In the signature, you will find a link where you can read more about this and what actions you can take to protect yourself.
So i tried the patch and i don't think it works? I put it on the game file but they're still roommates and landlord
