Thanks for the reasonable take! Those are pretty rare these days. I will try to keep the play-dough levels low. Keeping everything consistent has been a challenge with both 3D and AI but I think I have found an interesting middle ground. I'm not fond of how every Daz game sort of looks the same and has the same hair styles, characters, and backgrounds. The plasticy look is also annoying and is inevitable when you have many different skins of varying quality within different light conditions.
There are other reasons to not use photorealistic art too. Basically, it is not allowed on Steam. It also opens up some legit ethical and legal issues. I have some celebrity-inspired parodies in the game, but I am not using their names or photos to train my databases or create art unless I have permission or a license.
