Once again, I wanted to thank you for the game (and yes, I was a subscriber for a while). I really enjoyed the storytelling. Let's hope the reworked project doesn't lose its appeal and becomes a commercial success for you.
But damn, I still haven't gotten the "group activities" to continue! ))) It would also be nice to see a little more "forced" content, including the use of blackmail.
In any case, good luck with your creative endeavors!
Thanks for the feedback and for supporting the project, xw1! .61 html already has new group content in it and there is a pretty high chance you will see it this year.

This game is the reason I have an account on this site. If somebody who knows is reading this, could you spend a couple minutes telling me what's going on? And maybe Tango should put that in an update thingie.

Hi Lewdviticus. Thanks for your long-standing interest in the project!

Development continues steadily. Some people dislike that I am using AI trained on my own art but it seems to be about the same % that were unhappy with the 3D art so I am using new systems to fill the game with content and try to make the best game possible. I hope to release the fully complete game with all 100 endings next year. I have a fairly large backlog of content and posts to release in the near future. Some are over a year old, but will explain this whole process in greater detail. It took a long time to get to this point, but I think the additional research and development will pay off with this and future games.

You'll never please everyone but the majority will just be pleased you're pushing forward to complete your project. If this makes that possible and worthwhile I'm down.

AI seems silly considering the MC can transform making it so you can pull from the vast world of the internet. but we will see.

It's not really "silly" because it means that the art can follow the story, rather than forcing the story to follow the art.

Even more importantly, it is not "silly" because the dev is happier with AI art, so enthusiasm for the project remains high. Dev enthusiasm is the one essential ingredient in game development.

Transfigure 0.0.7 is 3D version?
It still has some 3D placeholders but the last full 3D build was in the spring. Also, the AI art is trained on the 3D art so the character likeness should be high for most characters. Much of the art is just 3D art with an overlay.

That's especially true with solo projects. Joe is a smart cookie. I am having a lot of fun bringing Transfigure to life! AI Luddites will not hold me back from realizing my vision. AI allows me to push my creativity to extreme levels and it makes large projects like this more feasible to attempt. It also allows a solo dev like me the potential to create something that not long ago would have been impossibly out of budget. This should just mean more of everything and hopefully increasing quality over time. Transfigure is coming in 2026.

I take AI over 3D any day. Nobody in this "free-to-play" subscription business has the patience or skill to make photorealistic 3D. Some do it better than others (Desert Stalker is pretty good on some scenes, but not all), but overall it just looks like plastic. I don't mean that AI pictures Tango is making would be exactly photorealistic either, but at least they don't look like made from playdough.

I prefer the "real porn" images, but understand the limiting factor those gives storywise.

Thanks for the reasonable take! Those are pretty rare these days. I will try to keep the play-dough levels low. Keeping everything consistent has been a challenge with both 3D and AI but I think I have found an interesting middle ground. I'm not fond of how every Daz game sort of looks the same and has the same hair styles, characters, and backgrounds. The plasticy look is also annoying and is inevitable when you have many different skins of varying quality within different light conditions.

There are other reasons to not use photorealistic art too. Basically, it is not allowed on Steam. It also opens up some legit ethical and legal issues. I have some celebrity-inspired parodies in the game, but I am not using their names or photos to train my databases or create art unless I have permission or a license.

Anyway, happy holidays everyone!
